We had a fantastic 4 night break at Villa Kallhagen. The hotel is close enough to the hub of the city centre (30 minute walk) but set in a beautiful, green waterside settling. Only 10 minutes walk to the main entrance to Djurgrden and an easy and a regular bus service to the old town. Really helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Breakfast was great - such a beautiful setting to start your day.

When we first read the other reviews I thought there is no way this place is that good! My Wife and I were pleasantly surprised! This place is wonderful! The Staff was top notch, A special mention to so some of the front desk service, Emma Kevin and Moa! The rooms were clean , a good size and the Air conditioning worked very well. Since it was in the high 20s when we there there it was very appreciated. The bathroom was roomy with a big skylight and a big walk in shower with a rainfall shower head along with the standard one, Also the complimentary soaps were luxurious and had a wonderful aroma, Two small downsides The blackout curtains in the room were inadequate and let a lot of light into the room . We were there during the longest days of the year. Also the faucet for the sink was a waterfall type with an open area on top, It looked nice but considering people brush their teeth there and wash there hands it seems a bit unhygienic for drinking water, The restaurant had good food and it was reasonably priced. A special mention to Pernilla the hostess who found a table for us even though it was a busy night and we did not have a reservation, A breakfast buffet with everything including breads and rolls that were delicious . Last but certainly not least is the location of the hotel. It is set in a Museum Park overlooking the Fjord with some truly stunning views. It is also within walking distance of many of the great attractions in Stockholm. And right on the bus line if you do not want to walk. A true gem. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I really enjoy my trip there the room was awesome and it was fast to walk up to Stockholm and thanks for the free toothbrush and hair come the bed was soft and not a lot of noise and the hotel personable was just so helpful and happy even though i have to w8 a long time for my food it was worth it

During covid time it was easy to get a room. Good price too. Just 70 euro per person /night. Breakfast included. Due to restrictions the morning buffé was cancelled but we could order from a special menu and the quality was perfect. Must have been one of the tastier breakfast i ever had. The room was Ok. Standard quite ordinary. Not more or less. A bit worn interior. Within some year now they need to make some refit of wallpaper and paintings. Bed was great though. Wifi perfect. For us it was the location that matters. We needed to stay close to Djurgården and nothing could be better. Especially with the new gc bridge to Rosendahl castle. Staff was kind and helpful. All in all it was a good stay and it's recommendable

Unique decor, smart yet homely atmosphere, lovely views over one of Stockholms canals, understated Swedish style and good dining. Situated in Stockholms delightful diplomatic quarter. Classy spot and well worth trying if you are not wedded to international chain style hotels.

Everything was very good! Personnel were very kind and helpful! Location, service and facilities were also at high level! Free sauna , minibar and parking. Very beautiful restaurant with lake view! Comfortable room and good enough breakfast as for Europe. Very nice, comfortable and quiet place near Stockholm centre.

Pretty hotel, very nice staff, amazing location by the water. We enjoyed taking walks in the area, which was beautiful despoter the gloomy november weather. Staff was very accomodating regarding dietary requests. Overall a nice experience!

I traveled in Business trip, but I feel I was like on a vacation when I get back to the hotel. Really relaxed and balanced in the intense business trip. 1. Close to city center, take bus 69, 4 stops to city center; 6 stops to Centralstation. 2. located close to the lake, lot of joggers, feeling relaxed and healed. 3. 5-mins walk to several museums. I took a lunch break and had a fantastic experience in Marine Museum. It is free entry, and had a guide tour in English. 4. Nice stuff, good breakfast with fresh juice and home-baked small bread. 5. Room is warm, clean and spaceful.

One night stay and upgraded to the suit was a Wednesday treat. 😀 Sleeping silently with the window open all night was a rare treat. The location is a bit off but the closeness to nature makes it all worth!

We were ever so well looked after at the hotel, fantastic receptionist and the food was top class. We will very likely stay again next time we are in town for business. Our quite boisterous 2 and 3 year olds were made to feel entirely welcome.
