We stayed for three nights July 2016. The location is very convenient by Zinkensdaam on the red line, just a couple of stops from Gamla Stan. Economy Double Room was a **very** tight fit around the bed but the bathroom was quite spacious, the bed comfortable and room stylish. No air-conditioning but that wasn't a problem. Staff really friendly and... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. The budget rooms/small double rooms are quite a lot smaller than the standard double rooms so we do recommend reserving the bigger room if staying a bit longer but it sound like you still enjoyed your stay and that makes me really happy. We strive to give the best service... More

First I want to talk about the pros of the hotel: The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the vivid and hip borough of Södermalm. In the neighborhood you'll find many creative shops, boutiques and restaurants offering a big variety of different cuisines. The hotel itself is located in an old mansion dating back to 1770. Each room... More

We stayed one night before a trip to the archipelago. Check in was fast and our room was spacious with good curtains to block out the early morning light. Breakfast was great with lots of choice in a lovely downstairs room. Lift to room made for easy luggage transfer. Drink on balcony was pleasant. Easy access to old town via... More

This hotel was at one point a Swedish Manor. It has been beautifully restored as a European-style hotel, built right into the rock. The breakfast buffet room is down in the basement, what feels like a cavern. They lay out a complete breakfast from eggs to bread variety, pate, yogurt, fruits, nuts, salmon (t's Sweden), coffee, teas, cereal, etc. Our... More

We spent a week at the hotel and enjoyed every day of it. Very tastefully decorated (a beautiful tiled stove in one corner), very comfortable four posted bed, very clean room, a lovely breakfast and very helpful staff. Only a few minutes from a tube station which enables you to get to Sussen (Boats to Djugarden sail from there) or... More

I found this place by chance. I'm really glad I did. First of all, it's REALLY near from a subway station. It's a place with story because the building it's an old manor. The breakfast is really nice, offers great fresh bread baked daily. Also the neighborhood is pretty great. You have a good Italian restaurant nearby, a kebab kiosk,... More

This hotel offers a unique travel experience. The public areas are full of artifacts of interest, including books, sculptures and many antiques. The staff as helpful and accommodating on all fronts. Staying in Hornstull & Langholmen

Neighborhood Profile
Hornstull & Langholmen
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
