The B&B is SO central, so easy to reach from Arlanda airport, so easy to get to from Stockholm Central Station. The metro was metres from the front door of the building. Just turn right and walk a few paces. We live in the country so the quiet location was a bonus and our room overlooked a leafy courtyard, which... More

This is absolutely NOT a Bed & Breakfast but rooms in a high rise the owner rents out (with no breakfast). This is place was a misnomer for really an Airbnb type arrangement and something I never expected to find on this site. The owner was a grumpy old queen wearing his underwear and soccer shorts halfway down his derriere... More

Don't be afraid to share this room in this apartment with Stefan! He's awesome, friendly and ready to help you in any questions! Room was very clean, also as toilet and bathroom. In room also were coffee machine, teapot, tea, gowns. Everything was fresh, clean and we were filling like we are at home. The subway is in 1 minute... More

Just returned from the vacation in Stockholm. This city is well-known for its very expensive hotels. The B&B proposed amazing perspective. The location is 15 of 10, it's 20 meters from the metro station which is more than perfect late at night. Besides the area itself is full of stores, cafes, restaurants, clubs, everything you may need. And just 2... More

I stayed here 3 nights past, and it was exactly what one needs. A great location, very clean. modern, full of facilities and a great host. Stefan was very flexible on everything. From a very late checkin, to payment time and is completely professional and a pleasure to deal with. The room had a bed, ample storage space, TV, tea/coffee,... More

It needs to be repainted. It's a little old and well used. The floor was not well cleaned. We found a bottle under the bed. But it is placed on a good position. Close to everything. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for three nights in December 2013. We usually try and stay in B&Bs when we can and we found this place especially good. The room was fairly spacious and there was plenty of wardrobe space plus a good bathroom (we had the ensuite deal). There was good WIFI too. The owner Stefan was very obliging, checking us... More

We spent a whole week in April 2013 in Stockholm and we rented the room A (with private bathroom) at Stefan's B&B. We enjoyed the place very much. It is well located near all services and close to historic part of the City. The owner is friendly and discreet. In the room, you will find valuable touristic information on Stockholm... More

Of the budget hotels that I now B&B Mariatorget Stockholm in the best one. The pre arrival contacts with Stefan, the owner, all the actions he has done to make the stay as best as possible were unexpected and worked very well. The room was nice, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was of good quality and the quantity exceeds one's expectations.... More

This accommodation is located in the owners own home and is located on the 6th floor of a block of apartments. There is a large lift which makes getting your suitcase there much easier. We stayed here for 2 nights and found everything we needed and more. Stefan, the proprietor can not do enough for you and is very welcoming.... More

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighborhood Profile
Mariatorget
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
