A real pleasure every time we visit.
Swedish food couldn't taste any better. Well worth every penny. or kronor.
Seating area is available in the summer.
Very close to the centre of town. Right on Standvägen 10minute walk from the Dramaten house by the water.
A wonderful place for a long weekend, not overcrowded with tourists. The Hotel Diplomat was the perfect choice for comfort, service and location. It is a walking city and we were never far from the hotel. Whilst Sweden is an expensive location, this hotel offered...More

The hotel is located beautifully next to the water, with walking distance to many of Stockholm's must-see. The staff is friendly, breakfast is good, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. I would recommend this hotel for a weekend in Stockholm.
This boutique hotel has the most one can expect.
The location is superb, 30 feet from the water. Close to the city centre, but still a bit “private” from the night life made the city noice.
The rooms are unique and top notch.
The hotel is located in a old building refurbished recently, in the business area downtown on the wharfs. From the hotel probably all your appointments will be walking distance.
The rooms are confortable, Art Deco style. The breakfast is a buffet. Service is ok.
With its high-end shopping facilities and Michelin-starred restaurants, Östermalm is definitely the poshest part of central Stockholm. Here you will find Stockholm’s most majestic residential buildings, a beautiful market hall from 1888 displaying gourmet foods from around the world and the Swedish Royal Dramatic Theatre with its awe-inspiring architecture. At night, legendary nightclubs make the perfect
location to observe the natives (and those aspiring to become natives of this exclusive neighborhood) in their natural habitat and to enjoy the latest produce of the Swedish house music scene.

Thank you for your message. At the moment we have our Summer offer available at some dates in July, you can search for specific dates to see what offers are availble on our website. If you are very sensitive to sound, I would recommend you to reserve a room facing the courtyard, as the sea view rooms are facing the street. Our courtyard rooms are facing either the courtyard at the back of the hotel, or the Esplanad, a courtyard on the side of the hotel, which might give you glimpse of Strandvägen. Please do not hesitate to Contact our reservations team or visit our website if you wish to make a reservation or if you have any further questions. We hope to welcome you to Hotel Diplomat in July!
