We booked a small suite with a view of the park for a short stay. The room was lovely and we received complementary wine, chocolate, and water. When my husband lost his cellphone the man on front desk duty made several calls to help us find it and then gave us a complementary Swedish history lesson. A memorable visit!
The bedroom is very cozy and the bathroom big enough. The stuff was smiley and helpfull. Excellent breakfast for all tastes and needs.Good location near in coffee shops, restaurants, metro station and markets. Beautiful park view especially when is snowing.
Lovely hotel, bedroom very clean and warm, lovely bathroom, liked the choice of 'hotel or shower?' offered on check-in. Sauna very nice too and lovely products to use in shower there and plenty of towels. However, the food set-up was rather odd. The breakfast was fabulous but laid out in the adjacent restaurant Miss Voon and there was also a British-style pub attached to the hotel at the other side (The Bishop's Arms) but as there was no restaurant or lounge in the hotel itself there was no informal place for having a cup of tea or biscuit/sandwich during the day. On New Year's Eve, for example, the British pub closed at 5pm and the restaurant had been fully booked for some days in advance. We got a list of restaurants open in the city (limited) and we tried them all - all fully booked. However, we did get a space across the road at Jamie Oliver's restaurant ourselves (it was, strangely, not on the hotel's list of open restaurants) so that saved the day. I thought we could have been told about the strange alcohol laws on NYE too which saw no alcohol served, even in supermarkets, after 3pm unless you were in a (rare) restaurant! Small complaint, though, given the hotel was lovely, staff helpful and had good English, and it was in a great location. I was also a bit disappointed to be just handed the list of possible restaurants that night. In other hotels where their restaurant has been booked out - I am particularly thinking of Copenhagen on NYE 2016 - the hotel will often organise another restaurant and book it for you.…
Great hotel in Stockholm. Staff friendly and very welcoming on arrival. Apart from the restaurant they have their own pub called The bishops arms. So on the first night o need to walk to far. Big selection of food for breakfast which is all self service, ideal if you got a big appetite. Hotel room very clean and modern. On arrival staff asked if you preferred a room with a shower or bath, which is a nice option. Stone throw from the main town and plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Very enjoyable stay would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I spent three nights at the Elite Eden Park hotel and we are totally satisfied from our stay there. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood in the center of Stockholm. Most major attractions are easily accessible by foot. A metro station and a tram/bus stop are also located close to the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Checking in and checking out hardly took more than 5 minutes. The room was well equipped and was kept spotlessly clean during our stay. The rain shower was a joy to use and a blessing for sore muscles after a day of walking in the cold. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety although the two distant buffets arrangement was a little confusing the first time. All and all a very nice hotel to which I will be happy to return next time in Stockholm.…
