Every room was packed with beds, but it was clean and I got enough space to feel comfortable. They provide you with linens which is nice, but BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL! You can rent for 35, but that seemed like a bit much for me. The rooms come with a bench in the middle so you can work in the... More

We only stayed one night while passing through Stockholm but we were happy with this hostel. Our room was simple, spacious and clean with an excellent shower. More than comfortable. Good location close to many restaurants and about a kilometre walk from central station. The wifi was cutting in and out a bit in our room but otherwise a good... More

The location is really good, staff is nice and there is nothing to complain about the breakfast either. There is very interesting Urban Deli shop next door and you can also cook yourself in the kitchen. Room and all the area is hostel were clean. I will come back some day I guess :)

Stayed 2 nights in Single Room with Private Bathroom at SEK 493 per night. Very small room with just enough room for a single bed and somewhere to put your bag but the bed was comfortable, it was warm and it was clean and modern. Bathroom also small but functional. Room situated on ground floor. Wifi worked at times in... More

Very organized, clean and quiet with what you need. But, no frills and not that you need them. Small to modest size rooms and baths. No tables, chairs or TV. Great beds and lighting. Fully equipped kitchen but with a challenging stove top which most people found difficult to operate. However, once figured out it worked fine. Lots of people using... More

Birka Hostel has good rooms with comfortable beds at a cheap price right in the central of Stockholm, near an underground station and near the railwaystation. Nice places nearby for food or a cup of coffee. Recommend!!

I think i got a good rate for staying here. approx 595 SEK for a bedroom of 3 with ensuite toilet, so i think it was rather reasonable since stockholm is pretty expensive. Booking was swift and easy, information of the key code into the hostel was promptly given. If you are coming via the bus or train terminal, it... More

I have been one night in this "hotel". The room is not too big, but there is nothing inside. Very basic, you should expect anything more. Even the bathroom and shower was less than minimalistic. No reception for any request or issue. During the night the ventilation was always on at maximum speed and no way to reduce it or... More

Stayed there for 2 nights. It was ok. Had some problems to find it - but it's actually perfect located near to the old town, the port, and also to a tube station (saw it later ;)). There are always pasta&coffee for free that's nice. My room was ok. Good people there also nice staff. One thing: Bet made always... More
