We are the only hotel located inside a real authentic Boeing 747, Jumbojet. The aircraft was first flewn in 1976. Last journey was from Dublin to Stockholm in 2002. We have a nice wing walk / terrasse on the left wing, perfect for plane spotting. Our bar and cafe are open for everyone all days in the week.

I arrived late at night and when I walked up towards the jumbo jet I said loud to myself - Wow, this place is cool. It’s easy to get there from Arlanda with a free shuttle bus. I was welcomed by a nice man. My room was a 2-bed female dorm, and I was lucky to have it for myself. It’s not much space in the room for big bags, but what to except from staying inside a jumbo? There were several bathrooms, so no queue. And you had to take your shoes off just inside the door! Which I think is great - it was clean inside the jumbo. The bed was comfy and everything felt sparkling clean. The reason for not 5 stars are because 1. It’s noisy. All night you will hear people walking outside your room because your head is next to the door. I will bring earplugs next time. 2. The breakfast. Luckily the receptionist said I can take a look at the breakfast before I decide if I want to buy it (I’m a veggie) - it wasn’t for me. That doesn’t mean it’s not good. It just didn’t fit me. Otherwise a great stay and it felt like a little adventure. I will be back and next time stay in the Engine room or maybe even the cockpit!

I stayed in the economy single room at Jumbo Stay for the night before my flight out. Convenient shuttle to and from the airport on 15-minute intervals. It drops you off about 1-2 minutes from the front door (elevator, actually) of the hotel. Reception at the hotel was friendly and efficient. The room is small, which is what I expected. You're here more for the novelty of it than any type of luxury. If you are traveling with others, you will likely spend time in the common room (or even on the wing deck) because the rooms don't really offer any hang-out space. The shared baths and showers are clean and adequate. Tip: shower in the handicapped bathroom for extra space. Nothing in the cafe really appealed to me for dinner so I went to the hotel across the street and ate at their restaurant/bar. That was fine, a short walk though it does involve running across the street. Breakfast was included, and I simply had cereal and banana, though there were hard boiled eggs and other options. It's not cheap for what you get, but in my opinion it's totally worth it to say you stayed here 1 night.

We stayed before an early flight and enjoyed it. We found it easy to find using the shutte. The information on the history of the of the plane was fascinating. My son loved the tyre swing. Breakfast from 3am was very much appreciated.

It has a bit of a taste of "adventure" when you stay a the Jumbo stay. However, it is clean and it is a hostel. But for the price and the convenience to the airport, it is great. For food you are better of at the airport pizzeria (just there Shuttle bus stops away). The service is friendly and the breakfast is just as good as anywhere else. All in all, its something different and whilst going out on the Wing for a drink, someone was sitting there doing "Planespotting". Chaqun a son gout
