Between the staff and the room I highly recommend this hotel. Great location, outstanding service plus fantastic in-house restaurant. Whether traveling for pleasure or business (post Pandemic soon) this hotel is #1 in Stockholm
Since I have to be in Stockholm on a regular basis, I tend to always stay at Story Hotel. The rooms are cosy and it is situated very central with multiple metro and bus stations within walking distance. The bar and restaurant are great and the staff (at least at the reception) is always friendly. During my last stay, I was allocated a room with carpet floor for the first time and since I travel a lot for work, my only requirement and wish is: NO carpet floors. The girl at the reception was extremely lovely and instantly let me move into one of their beautiful wooden floor rooms. Made my day and night!!! Highly recommend.
Totally an ok hotell, ok breakfast but nothing special.. roomservice is the same as in the resturant.. room are ok nothing special.. They dont have a gym, but when i asked of they partnered up with any gym close by they had not.. so i hade to find a gym and pay for it..
A fantastic centrally located hotel, close to the T-bana at Östermalmstorg. Decorated with an industrial-chic look and with a very good bar and Asian restaurant. Comfortable beds and very good breakfast each morning.
Me and my partner and our dog shared a dog friendly room, the King room. The room was great and I loved all the different shower gels and creams from the nice brand Bruket. The bed was super comfy and the room was very spacious. It would have been nice with some bowls for the dog but maybe we could have just asked for that! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The allowed me to have the room for 2 hours longer on the check out day as it was very quiet. We had some issue where we had booked a non dog friendly room but they upgraded us to a dog friendly one for free (it was about 3-400 krona more) which was very appreciated. The bar is great and the restaurant as well. The location is also so good, we loved taking a walk along the water in the morning. Due to the corona restrictions we mostly stayed in the hotel or went for walks. The one thing I was disappointed about was the breakfast. First of all it didn't feel corona friendly at all, for example having butter in a bowl and everyone touching the same cutlery. Also it was very minimal, no hot food or anything. I think it's okay with minimal but then the actual food should be off great quality. I've been in other boutique hotel where the breakfast has been quite small but really good. This was just your average breakfast and for example there was this musli which which it was homemade, but I know exactly which one it is to buy in the shop, and it's not a pricy one or anything, just a very simple one. I found that a bit strange. So, overall we loved the stay but the breakfast could have been so much nicer and a bit more special. I was happily surprised about how friendly the staff was and the location can't get any better, so I would definitely recommend this place:)!…
