I should preface my comments by saying that I have stayed at the Lydmar perhaps five times over the last few years, most recently just a few days ago, and I believe it has its advantages and disadvantages, like any place. However, on my most recent visit, I was checked-in in less than 60 seconds and just a few minutes... More

This is a really wonderful hotel, one of the the best city hotels you'll find for a long weekend break. Mid-sized "boutique" but large enough to have all the facilities of a larger hotel. It is chic and sophisticated, but in a low key, discreet, warm and comfortable kind of way. That is partly down to the decor/vibe/other guests and... More

This place is inspiring. Fantastic location, walkable from most main attractions - the Lydmar Hotel was my base for a long weekend from New York. The lobby is quaint, the staff is friendly, gym was close by (better than good) and the price point was worth it. Booked via AMEX Platinum. Would not hesitate to return.

For a moment before writing this review, I was hesitating between awarding Lydmar with 4 or 5 bubbles. In many ways, this hotel is not "perfect" - it doesn't have the opulence of an Aman hotel, the grandeur of a Peninsula, the unparalleled service of a Mandarin Oriental. It doesn't have a gym (but offers a discount at the neighbouring... More

This boutique hotel is not cheap but it is excellent. Located in the centre, the staff are exceptional. They are well presented, friendly and knowledgeable. No request is too much and they booked us a place in a local restaurant. Even the breakfast staff took the time to recommend things to do and how to get around. The rooms are... More

My partner and I spent 2 days in Stockolm recently at the Lindmar hotel. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The rooms are very nice and confortable. The rooms were very clean and cleaned well each day. The breakfast and restaurant is great. Would stay again as great hotel and location.

This is a very cool and trendy hotel. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable but it was hard to get a table. It was noisy at night, but that was due to other guests on our floor rather than the hotel itself. If you like a cool and... More

This is an excellent hotel and we enjoyed every aspect. The staff - all of them - were friendly and helpful. The rooms were stylishly decorated. The common parts were spacious and light. The lifts were efficient. The shower was powerful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast extensive and delicious. The hotel is in a great location and there are... More

We spent 3 nights at the Lydmar Hotel and without a doubt I will stay here again if I ever return to Stockholm. The service was impeccable and felt very personal as the hotel is quite small. Even before we arrived I received a wealth of emails with dining recommendations and booking details. They also booked an airport transfer for... More

Very modern and chic hotel in the center of Stockholm. Big rooms with comfortable beds. Staff was efficient and friendly. 5min walk from old city centre. Sadly the National Museum is being renovated and I had construction noise in the morning. Would have booked elsewhere had I known.
