We stayed here with a large group over a longer period of time for business. The single rooms are very small, but the beds are nice and soft. The bathrooms are big enough though a shelf to put down toiletries would be nice. It would also be nice to have more shelves for clothes rather than hanging closets without clothes...

As most reviews say. It is a no thrills hotel nicely located with decent clean rooms if a bit small. Beds are comfy with proper duvets. Very pleasant staff. Nothing charming just convenient. More of a family type with a large lounge and small pool table. It was perfect for an overnight dropping my son to Jonkoping Uni.

I didn't want to stay at one of the larger chains and hoped that this hotel would offer something different, more personal and perhaps better. But it didn't. However, friendly staff. Good location. Clean. The hotel looks like is stuck in the year 1986. The room (single) was ok, but I expected a little more for the price (1300kr). Free...

We booked a family room here as the hotel had its own car park. What a fantastic family room. A proper cot was provided (rather than a travel cot), and a very comfy pull out bed (along with the 2 single beds). The breakfast was of a very good standard. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay...

Good service for transfer travelers. Good breakfast. Lounge with TV screen and bar. Near citycenter with shops, cafés and restaurants. Walking distance to park, old square and city church. Nice and friendly people.

We did't really know what to expect. Our first trip to Sweden and after 3 days in Stockholm, to cope with the after effects of jet lag, we spent a leisurely 3 hours on the highway in a brand new C60 Volvo... We finally arrived at our City Hotel to a pleasant receptionist, a good overview of the premises and...

We were a family of four on an overnight stay in Jönköping on our way to Stockholm. From the beginning it was obvious that this hotel appealed to families. In the lobby was a pool table and a play area and the children were offered free ice lollies on arrival. The room was large and spacious even with four single...

Looking for accommodation over a couple of nights during my summer holiday in Sweden I decided to visit Jönköping to play golf and spend a little me-time. I booked my stay at City Hotel on the same afternoon as I needed a room. And received excellent assistance from the front desk personnel. They handled booking of tee-times at two nearby...

A small hotel near The match museum. the room and bathroom quite small. No fridge/minibar. The view is somewhat spectacular over the lake Vattern. many café and restaurants nearby, opposite the hotel is the old match factory area, There is no 24 hour service so if you come late you can't get access to the garage.
