This was a return visit , although the name has changed. The wifi password still worked from last year and I felt at home. The location is good, walking distance from the station, access to the park for a jog and many restaurants. Breakfast is very good. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Very likely to return.

We stayed here 3 nights in a superior room. Actually, I didn't feel it to be superior, as only its size was unusual, all other features just usual. To be correct, I would also mention the view from our window (4th floor). Bed was comfortable. There is no safe in the room, and the bathroom is quite small. Free wifi...

Central Malmo hotel with easy near by public parking. Very good breakfast at a very reasonable price. I found it difficult to Log-on to the free wifi, so gave up, but apart from that it was really good.

The Mortensen Hotel is just perfectly located in Malmö : in the heart of the city center, 5 minute-distance from the central station, etc. The hotel is quite comfortable, very clean and the staff is friendly & available at any moment. The price rates include a nice buffet breakfast. The rooms are then a bit small, especially the beds, and...

I stayed here two night for business reasons and enjoyed the perfect location and the friendly staff. Also I found the hotel charming with furnishing matching the old historic building. I loved the breakfast with fresh oranges and a juicer to make your own juice and a waffle maker and batter to make fresh waffles - along with everything else....

The location of the hotel is perfect; in the heart of the city and yet very quiet. I was fascinated by the friendly and helpful staff. I needed to leave very early in the morning and they arranged a breakfast for me even though it was well before breakfast time. There are free snacks and hot beverages in the lobby...

Firtsly, the staff here are excellent. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful and couldn't be faulted. The location is very central within easy walking distance of the central station and city shops/restaurants/bars, though on a quiet enough street that there was no noise from outside during the night. Breakfast was typically continental, but there was a good range of items on...

Tucked away in a little side street in the centre of Malmo, Hotel Baltzar now Hotel Mortensen is a great find. It provides a warm personalised service - I did not see many hotel staff but the three I met were warm and welcoming - at rates that are highly competitive. It is located for instant access not just to...

Hotel Baltzar has just changed its name to Hotel Mortensen because it was taken over by a new company. We have been coming to this hotel for more than ten years and we have always been very happy with the accommodation and the service. The staff are very helpful and friendly, speak perfect English (like most Swedes) and will do...

A very short walk from Malmo Central Station brought us to Hotel Baltzar - nice after a long journey. We stayed 5 nights and found the entire staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. When our daughter joined us in the hotel, we were upgraded into a giant corner...
