The service at check-in was good even when arriving late. The room was nice, a standard room with a cozy bed. The shortcomings were more about the cleaning and the breakfast. Most of the warm dishes at breakfast were actually not warm even if you arrived half an hour after the breakfast room was opened. For example, the scrambled eggs and bacon were almost cold. This was the case every morning. The cleaning seems to include just switching the towels and emptying the trash…However, the room seems to be clean but you probably expect that the cleaning also includes washing or changing used glasses for example.

Great location in the city centre,close to everything. Breakfast included in the price,OK but nothing too exciting.Lacks a bit in the presentation aspect. The room is average in space,bed is excellent,bathroom needs a bit of a renovation. Wifi probably the strongest asset of the hotel. Overall matched my expectations and there is also home for improvement.

Could use some renovation. Atleast in the bathroom of the room I stayed in. The shower was leaking and I couldn't close one of the glass doors to the shower because it felt like it was gonna break. There was kind of a mosaic floor in the shower and several of the squares was loose. Also a bit weird that the sink was outside of the bathroom, in the room. However, I didn't really care about that. The hotel is in a very good location. The breakfast is good and the staff is nice. Definitely would stay here again.

Close to the train station and bus station, restaurants, shops, cinema and theater. Easy to reach by car. Good garage. Friendly staff excellent breakfast. We had a very nice stay with the family and visiting friends

The room was full of hair; the bed, bathroom floor, shower drain. Trash in the toilet. Dirty bedsheets. No toilet door, it was just missing. There was nothing to be done since there were no free rooms, so we had to sleep in used bedsheets.

Hotel Aveny is a convenient and comfortable place to stay when visitng Umea. The front desk staff is especially helpful and outgoing and several times during my stay went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was a good one.

Bar was closed, restaurant was closed, both not informed beforehand, room-safe defect, gym directions not clear, roomservice (bed, towels, toiletpaper) not on daily basis , we had to ask for the above. So accomodation ok, but service and information not.

Very good hotel. Location perfect. Downside is the noise at night from the street, when leaving window open. The garage of the hotel is not connected to the hotel. This is a minus for travelers by car.

It is near everything one would think of in Umeå. Workers are truly professional, one cannot ask more of them. The breakfast is as good as you can find anywhere in town. Internet is good, room clean and mirrors in the room are amazing!
