Aurora Camp is wonderfully located at the Torne River, 12 km from the city of Kiruna. You can book your own cottage, simple rooms in the main building or wilderness suite. We arrange all kinds of tours in both summer and winter. You can also rent a canoe or mountain biking in the summer and skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. But missed especially not our dog sledding and snowmobile tours. Transfer to the camp and from the camp can be booked with us for 350 SEK/car, one way.

The location is just perfect, in front of the river, looking towards the north, where the northern lights appear (if you are lucky). Simple accommodation, but clean and comfortable. We went in August and we were the only guests. It is a bit far from Kiruna, so it is a place

The staffs are so warm and friendly (Karsha) that we are felt at home. The breakfast and dinner tasted so good! I love the moose steak and meat loaf with cream sauce for dinner. For breakfast, we always have freshly baked bread.

Arctic char is amazing to catch and eat! I am sure you might find some place to rent, I just know of an outdoor store that sells them on Kiruna. Best be to contact Emilia at kiruna guide tur. She knows better who to connect you with. Take care

Oslo? Oslo is southern Norway, Kiruna northern Sweden. It is about 700 km, a (very) long days drive. I would say abou 10-12 h at least. Yes it is to warm for Iglus. Dont expect them to be up before November/December.
