Accommodation at Suan Sati is simple yet comfortable, perfect for yogis. The rooms at this eco-resort are built out of adobe mud bricks and recycled teak wood, and the beds are the best you'll find in Thailand.

My time spent at Suan Sati was an unforgettable experience. This fabulous retreat is nestled delicately amongst luscious green rice fields and a rolling mountainous landscape. The rooms are simple, the grounds are beautifully manicured and it is clear that the facilities have been crafted with love. At Suan Sati your days are filled with invigorating yoga and mindfulness sessions led by inspiring teachers; workshops that challenge and stimulate the mind, body and spirit; and satiating down-time to rest and reset in one of their many chillout zones. The team there have created a schedule for your day that is both balanced and playful where you can participate as much or as little as you would like. As I am writing this, I somewhat feel the need to dedicate a whole paragraph to what some might say is the highlight of their day...The food! The insanely incredible vegan meals are expertly crafted by a team of dedicated chefs who roll out a daily FEAST of delicious, nutritious and stunningly-well presented meals that will fill you to the brim and give you the energy you need to simultaneously detoxify and recharge. I have been to many yoga retreat centres in my time and never come across one quite as special as Suan Sati. To me, it was the little things that make this one stand out in my mind. For example, the silent mornings, the meal rituals and the constant flood of gratitude that is dished out with every activity. To finish, I will say that Suan Sati is simplicity at its best. There are not a lot of bells and whistles, because there doesn't have to be. Everything you will need will be presented to you upon arrival and all that you need to do is show up for yourself and let it all in. The magic will take care of itself. Thank you to the entire Suan Sati family for all that you do for the yoga community and also for those who just want to get back to basics and remind themselves what living happily is all about.

I had the best 6 days at Suan Sati. Everything was perfect from the friendly staff, the amazing food, the quality of the yoga instructors and teaching. Special shoutout to Denise, Felicity, Christine & Xiu Lei. The vibe at Suan Sati is very relaxing and welcoming. I felt so refreshed after my time here and met the most amazing people. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to come back

Suan sati is this incredible magical place we're you can just be and come home. In everything you see/feel the philosophy of the owners of this place. It's in every detail. Everyone puts their soul and heart in it. You find it in the accommodation, the food, the Yoga and other workshops. They make it so easy for you, that you only have to think about yourself and show up for yoga practices. It's heaven on earth. It's more than a 5 star quality, it's extraordinary! Suan sati brings yogi minded people together. Yogi mind in the wider sense of the word. This whole place breathes mindfulness. I could only say, go and experience it yourself. I already know I'll go back!

This is place is beyond words. All the effort and love shines through and the atmosphere is like coming to your second home. All classes and workshops where in top and mindfully planned. The teachers are really good at what they do and they all are lovely people with big hearts. And the food!! Tasty and buffet every meal so you won’t go hungry. If you need a retreat for body and soul, I would definitely give oneself this as a gift.❤️

An all round wonderful experience. The instructors each brought such unique insights to the yoga practices and made for a really fulfilling week. The vegan food was delicious and all the accommodation was very clean. Overall, the location and digital detox allowed for a relaxing week and a rare chance for reflection. The only critic is that the website did not have much detail of the actual schedule of the week as the wake up gong was at 5:30am each day for a two and a half hour morning practice and another hour and a half in the afternoon. There were also many times when we would join together and share our thoughts etc. so may not suit everyone. Nevertheless, you could enjoy the week to suit you and I found by the end of the week I was glad to be up before the sunrise and made for a very unique experience! The Thai staff are also wonderful and met some great people.

This retreat exceeded expectations in every way. The pictures are stunning but nothing compared to actually being in this idyllic setting. The accommodation is very comfortable (we were in a dorm room) and well thought out. The food is absolutely incredible - clean, harmless and delicious eating which everybody can be inspired by. Between the 4 lovely yoga teachers, each had a different style and different message to share with each class. Although I had done some yoga previously I would still class myself as a beginner and the classes were just as suitable for me as for another guest who had done her own teacher training. While each individual element of this retreat is done well, what makes it so special and magical is how it all comes together and the people you share it with. I thought I was singing up for a week of yoga and meditation in the sun and I got more than I could have ever hoped for. Thankful that this place exists and would recommend to anyone to go and benefit from what it has to give and what you can learn about yourself.

This was my first yoga retreat and I came expecting a challenging daily practice of yoga and meditation. Suan Sati did not disappoint in this regard and also provided classes in a variety of yoga styles in a friendly environment accessible for practitioners at different stages in their yoga journey. What I didn't expect were the excellent educational workshops and group activities, which ended up being the highlight of the retreat for me. The instructors did an outstanding job facilitating sessions in a way that created a positive and encouraging space for self-discovery and sharing that pushed us outside of our comfort zones. In many ways this retreat shifted how I think of my yoga practice, from a work out, to a work in and as a philosophy and set of guidelines to be taken off of the mat to lead a more purposeful life. Lastly, this retreat is unparalleled in value. I had expected to be "roughing it" a bit given the cost, but this was not the case at all and the accommodations and meals felt luxurious.

I loved Suan Sati 1 so much I booked again for Suan Sati 2. It didn't disappoint, which can sometimes be the case when expectations are high! There is a good mix of yoga styles with well thought out teaching. But the community spirit and therapeutic exercises give it an extra quality of care and that makes it special. Tranquil location amid paddy fields; comfortable and spacious rooms; delicious, fresh food and plenty of it. The staff are a delight. It isn't a place for the luxury spa feel. Highly recommend.
