This was my third yoga retreat with the beautiful people of Suan Sati, and I'm already yearning to return. I know it may sound cheesy, but Suan Sati is so much more than a yoga retreat. It's a place that oozes with love, compassion and a strong community vibe which is so very needed in this crazy world. Will and Lisa have poured their hearts into this new location, and it shows in every little detail; from the gorgeous earth homes you stay in, to the incredible food, to the little signs of positive affirmation tucked into secret little places around the retreat.

The yoga program is well thought out and balanced. As a beginner yogi, I found I could push myself as much or as little as I wanted and always got something positive out of the class. The teaching crew all offer different wisdoms, abs guaranteed there will be a yoga style for you (for me it was kirtan). Don't be put off by the early start as well-it's totally worth it to have the sun rise while you do your salutations to it!

Take a chance and book this retreat!!! You will not regret it ❤️❤️❤️

An all round wonderful experience. The instructors each brought such unique insights to the yoga practices and made for a really fulfilling week. The vegan food was delicious and all the accommodation was very clean. Overall, the location and digital detox allowed for a relaxing week and a rare chance for reflection. The only critic is that the website did not have much detail of the actual schedule of the week as the wake up gong was at 5:30am each day for a two and a half hour morning practice and another hour and a half in the afternoon. There were also many times when we would join together and share our thoughts etc. so may not suit everyone.
Nevertheless, you could enjoy the week to suit you and I found by the end of the week I was glad to be up before the sunrise and made for a very unique experience! The Thai staff are also wonderful and met some great people.

Suan Sati exceeded all my expectations of a retreat. It offers more than just yoga and meditation - the winter retreat is carefully tailored to foster personal growth and community. The facilities were far better than I expected, with gorgeous private rooms and dorms. The vegan food made by the wonderful Thai team never failed to impress me - a wonderful mix of thai and western dishes throughout the day. I congratulate the Suan Sati team for putting together such an authentic experience and hope that everyone considering a retreat here takes the plunge and goes for it.

I went to Suan Sati feeling disconnected from myself, like I’d been on autopilot for ages and in need of some TLC. Suan Sati did not disappoint. Everything was so inspiring and moving. It’s actually hard to put into words the transformative experience I had. From the yoga practices which were both challenging and emotionally cathartic; the music and singing; the chants which opened my heart; the AMAZING and delicious vegan food, it’s the best I’ve had on my whole backpacking trip; the daily optional “weather reports” where as a group we could choose to discuss what was coming up for us but also be given really helpful guided discovery type questions to work on through journaling - I’m a psychotherapist and I can say this is like free therapy!! ; the beautiful setting - so quiet and peaceful; the connection through community and the freeing myself and letting go of bullsh*t ecstatic dance. It was all just WOW and has inspired me to maintain a daily asana and meditation practice. Even while I’m still travelling, this is priceless for me and truly a gift.
The highlight of this place though is the kindness and passion of all the amazing staff here. You can tell the teachers Lisa, Will and Nu really care about giving participants a heart opening and compassionate experience. They all bring such vibrancy and inspiration and I can’t thank them enough. And the Thai staff were so smiley and friendly too.
Thank you amazing Suan Sati :-)

I loved Suan Sati 1 so much I booked again for Suan Sati 2. It didn't disappoint, which can sometimes be the case when expectations are high!
There is a good mix of yoga styles with well thought out teaching. But the community spirit and therapeutic exercises give it an extra quality of care and that makes it special.
Tranquil location amid paddy fields; comfortable and spacious rooms; delicious, fresh food and plenty of it. The staff are a delight.
It isn't a place for the luxury spa feel.
Highly recommend.

Suan sati is this incredible magical place we're you can just be and come home. In everything you see/feel the philosophy of the owners of this place. It's in every detail. Everyone puts their soul and heart in it. You find it in the accommodation, the food, the Yoga and other workshops. They make it so easy for you, that you only have to think about yourself and show up for yoga practices. It's heaven on earth. It's more than a 5 star quality, it's extraordinary! Suan sati brings yogi minded people together. Yogi mind in the wider sense of the word. This whole place breathes mindfulness. I could only say, go and experience it yourself. I already know I'll go back!

I left the winter retreat with a lighter body and mind and a fuller heart. Thank you Will, Lisa and the rest of the Suan Sati team for facilitating such an inclusive and open space. The yoga and meditation classes, workshops, plant based meals and onsite facilities all exceeded my expectations. This retreat was without doubt the highlight of my trip and I am so grateful to have been a part of it all.

The yoga retreat at Suan Sati was the best thing I have ever done for myself. The yoga instructors had so much to teach, not only about yoga but about life, relationships, food, anything you ask really! I went solo, and I in fact recommend this because you will have a lot of time to do things for yourself. Everybody was so friendly, food was vegan and incredible, and the yoga classes had variety, which always kept things interesting. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place!

My time spent at Suan Sati was an unforgettable experience. This fabulous retreat is nestled delicately amongst luscious green rice fields and a rolling mountainous landscape. The rooms are simple, the grounds are beautifully manicured and it is clear that the facilities have been crafted with love.

At Suan Sati your days are filled with invigorating yoga and mindfulness sessions led by inspiring teachers; workshops that challenge and stimulate the mind, body and spirit; and satiating down-time to rest and reset in one of their many chillout zones. The team there have created a schedule for your day that is both balanced and playful where you can participate as much or as little as you would like.

As I am writing this, I somewhat feel the need to dedicate a whole paragraph to what some might say is the highlight of their day...The food! The insanely incredible vegan meals are expertly crafted by a team of dedicated chefs who roll out a daily FEAST of delicious, nutritious and stunningly-well presented meals that will fill you to the brim and give you the energy you need to simultaneously detoxify and recharge.

I have been to many yoga retreat centres in my time and never come across one quite as special as Suan Sati. To me, it was the little things that make this one stand out in my mind. For example, the silent mornings, the meal rituals and the constant flood of gratitude that is dished out with every activity.

To finish, I will say that Suan Sati is simplicity at its best. There are not a lot of bells and whistles, because there doesn't have to be. Everything you will need will be presented to you upon arrival and all that you need to do is show up for yourself and let it all in. The magic will take care of itself.

Thank you to the entire Suan Sati family for all that you do for the yoga community and also for those who just want to get back to basics and remind themselves what living happily is all about.

I came during my travel to South East Asia and even as a yoga beginner and could still follow the sessions as they normally offer 2-3 variations on how to do poses for different difficulties. All yoga teachers had impressive knowledge also about the body and gave advise on how to practice according to different body structures which I found very useful.
The food offered a great variety of fruits and vegetables and I will really miss it. Noone left hungry.
The accommodation offers enough space to relax either alone or with other participants. There are opportunities to spend the time such as optional workshops, art area, walking paths and hammocks ( for napping). The explanation on the website fits ans gives realistic insights into the retreat day schedule and accomodation. I stayed in a dorm room with fans. The bed was comfy and it was quiet. Showers and toilets were cleaned often.
I am grateful for spending time at Suan Sati and can recommend this retreat if you're looking for time to connect body and mind as well as meet inspiring people and have a great time.
