I just finished my first winter retreat with Suan Sati. I say first because I certainly hope that it wasn't my last. Everybody arrives with expectations but I will confidently say that you will leave with so much more than what you initially anticipated. The whole experience from the yoga, the scenery, the accommodation, the workshops, the food and most of all the whole staff was just wonderfull. They create an atmosphere in which you can come back to the present moment and be reminded to act mindfully. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I sure hope to see you all again. With endless gratitude, Elena

Suan sati is a magical place. Not only is it surrounding by breathtaking scenery, but the Suan Sati Team has also created an open and loving atmosphere that left me feeling a warm and fuzzy bliss all week. There is something for everyone with the variety in yoga styles and workshops offered and led by the thoughtful, passionate teachers. The food is exceptional, and the kitchen team went above and beyond when catering to my food allergies. I highly recommend Suan Sati, and I can’t wait to return in the future.

I booked a retreat with yoga and meditation and got so much more. After travelling for 7 months I needed a nice chilled quiet place with good energy to recharge. I couldn't have asked for a better place to do so and I can definitely say that Suan Sati is the highlight of my Southeast Asia trip! From the nice communication beforehand, making sure there were no food allergies or things to consider to the pickup, the warm welcome, the beautiful location and the BEST food I have ever eaten prepared in a super clean open kitchen by wonderful people that cook with pure love and smile what you can definitely taste, the cleanliness of the place, the outstanding variety of programs and different yoga and meditation styles, silenct mornings, books and paint, workshops, hammocks (just all of the details...), giving gratitude, sharing but also time for yourself, waking up in nature, using natural products and taking care of us 24 7. Will and Lisa created a paradise, a true garden of mindfulness where people come together as strangers and leave as friends. Sometimes people tell you something was perfect, and let me tell you, I don't even have enough words to describe what happened here. Outstanding, amazing, wonderful, transforming, healing, self discovering, community, connection, friendship, mindfulness, pampering, nourishing in every way possible. Will and Lisa, thank you from the deepest of my heart for having created this place that will forever stay in all of my cells as wonderful memories and in my heart. God bless you.

It is difficult to express how Suan Sati affected me in such a short space of time. It is a well thought out programme which is delivered effortlessly through the amazing teachers, Will, Lisa and Nu plus all the staff which work to make your stay special. The location and structure of the place itself is incredible with so much attention to detail. The rooms, decor, the constantly maintained gardens and the incredible food all add to this wonderful place. A lot of effort, time and love has gone into creating such an environment, that welcomes many people through its open gate, encourages, inspires and sends them on their way. Although, it doesn’t feel as if you actually leave, instead you use what you learn and integrate it into your daily life. Will and Lisa have created something truly special which benefits the local community as well as the mini ones that are created each week. I hope that more people can experience Suan Sati and have the opportunity to share and grow with it.

Suan Sati exceeded our expectations beyond belief. We thought we had simply booked onto a retreat that would offer us some structure, a bit of yoga and some R&R, but it was so much more. We have just left after the most incredible week, the love and care that has gone into creating this place is exceptional; conscientious programming, intelligent yoga class sequences suitable for all abilities and outstanding food (OUTSTANDING) are just the start of what makes this retreat so wonderful. Will, Lisa, Nu and the rest of the team at SS created an environment where community could thrive and individuals had the space and support to flourish. We witnessed and experienced some really powerful moments of breakthrough and growth. Our group was made up with amazing people from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds, and I’m not even sure how to describe the glow everyone developed during those 5 days. The accommodation was beautiful and the setting, amongst the rice paddies framed by the mountains with endless sky, will be etched in my mind. Just being here after the chaos of the city will restore any traveller. Sunsets and sunrises in a place like this won’t leave you. Don’t hesitate to choose Suan Sati. They have created a paradise in this little corner of the world.
