Currently the "Bed & Breakfast" offers beds only but no breakfast (due to the flloodings in Copenhagen some weeks ago) There is a kitchen that can be used for making coffee or tea. There is also a fridge and a microwave oven. Tea and coffee are free, however one day there was no coffee powder, the next day there was... More

We stayed one night in this house, the owner was very charming and welcoming and there was a breakfast available. We were leaving for the airport very early so could not have the breakfast. However, the kitchen on the top floor had facilities for us to make tea or coffee. There was also bottled water ,beer and wine in the... More

Royal Bed wasn't our first choice, but we settled here upon finding other places were already booked months in advance. We wanted to have a more Danish experience and intentionally avoided regular hotels in the city center. Royal Bed is located on a quiet residential street in the neighboorhood of Amager. There are bus and Metro connections nearby that take... More

Staying in Amager

Neighborhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
