I'm glad I stayed here in the end. Price wise might make you think twice, but considering opportunity cost and comfort etc., this would eventually be the most viable option. Rooms are lovely and spacious, but the best part is the en-suite toilet that is cleaned daily.

Hostel was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Was only there for one night, but I'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

It's a great hostel, very big structure like a hotel. Staff are great, friendly and always helpful. Location is good near main places. Attention always checking what's included on your reservation because breakfast and bed linen aren't included.

The hotel is located on the main road which makes it very easy for me to get into town. The room was great value as I just wanted somewhere to shelter and spend more time travelling so really no-fuss. Only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. There were limited buffet selection which made it really expensive so rather find...

Hi Nickpturnbull, Thank you for taking the time to rate your stay with us here on Tripadvisor. I will pass on your comment about the breakfast to our f&b manager, so that he can take into concideration if the breakfast buffet will need some improvement. Had a lovely stay here. We had a private room for three of us (myself and my two teenagers). Great location within walking distance of Tivoli and Central Station. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in a 4 person private room. Everything was clean and felt safe. Much closer to a hotel than a lot of hostels I have stayed in. Great location, just a 3 minute cycle from Tivoli!!! However, don't bother buying breakfast it is just not worth it for bread, cheese, mystery meat and coffee that tastes of bleach (thought...

Hi Angetbh. Thank you for the taking the time to rate your stay with us. And thanks a lot for the kind words :) We obviously still have a lot of improvement to do with the breakfast buffet. I will pass on your comment to our f&b manager, so that he can take it into concideration. Hope you enjoyed Copenhagen,...

My mom and I visited Copenhagen in early October and stayed in a private room for 3 nights. The room was very clean and had a great view of the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They were happy and able to answer all of our questions. This hostel provides only the basics so be prepared to pay...

Unless you travel with linens (who travels with linens?), you have to pay an extra 65dkk on arrival. Having a sleeping bag is not even enough. I told them I was happy to just sleep on top of the blanket that's provided but they insisted I pay them for linens. So the advertised price of DKK260 was actually a price...

Hi Scott B. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that the our bedlinen policy came as a surprise to you. It is noted very clearly on all booking sites, confirmations, and our own website though, that it is not included. The Danhostel concept is to offer low prices on accommodation, and in order to do so...

We rented a 17th floor apartment for a 4 night break with our three children. We stayed in a fantastic apartment with amazing views over the city. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the station, Tivoli and the centre of town. What little interaction we had with the staff was pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
