We came in on Wednesday afternoon, got nice service from the staff. We had 6 persons room on the 14th floor with great view over the city. The room was clean and fine. Beds was ok, but the pillows was poor. We had breakfast one morning, not expensive and we got all we wanted to eat. I have nothing bad... More

Hotels in Copenhague are expensive and Danhostel is a good option. You pay extra for sheets and towels (65 ddk per personper stay). Its about 800 meters from Stroget, so it's not exactly in the center but you don't need public transport. We were three but they gave us a room for six, which was basic but spacious and clean.... Gotta a private room with 6 beds for our 4l3 person group. Around$200/night plus linen rental. Very basic amenities. large hostel. not your typical fun hostel. no breakfast. Taxi drivers like to take the long route from the airport to jack up the fare.

Really impressed with this hostel. We had a private room which was very spacious and had a private bathroom. I couldn't access the Wi-Fi from our room ( on the 13th floor) but it worked well from the lobby and bar. We paid for breakfast which was value for money With a huge selection. Staff are very helpful and friendly.... More

Danhostel is clean, and the beds are comfortable. Danhostel also apparently holds 1,000 guests, so you'd think it would have lots of communal space, right? Wrong. It has a bar called "Bar 50" which is about as many people as you can fit in there, and a lobby that seats about the same. There is also a basement with seats... More

This is the #1 hostel in the city by far. The location is amazing. It is next to the very clean harbor that has a public pool built in right next to it. It is a straight walk to Christania, and also a straight walk to the main harbor area and the little mermaid. If you are considering Urban House,... More

Stayed for two nights here last November, easy to find from the airport with a bus stop right outside, 10 minute walk to tivoli and the central area of the city. Rooms were great, big and clean and very reasonably priced

A very good hostel. It's not cheap, although might be considered so when you look at the prices in Copenhagen. Very modern, rooms are big, beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean. Downstairs is a bar where you can also get something to eat. Recommended.

Great staff that spoke fantastic English and fabulous views of Tivoli Gardens. They even gave us a free ride ticket and gave us a discount off the entrance fee which was useful. Not the most comfortable beds but very good value considering the excellent location. They have a free luggage room which was helpful for us and a table tennis... More

Copenhagen is expensive and for a hostel, this is expensive, but for Copenhagen, it's good value. The place is immaculately clean. The rooms are basic but functional and just what you need to explore the city. Staff were extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go and we could walk everywhere from... Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
