Good location - just few minuets walk from metro or Tivoli :) Good wi-fi - friendly staff - the room was clean and big. We stayed for four nights with three children. You can buy breakfast - but we found it a bit expensive. We like this place, have stayed here two times and will hopefully do again ;)

The hostel was comfortable, quiet and clean. The staffs are helpful. The food is good and the nice thing is they have a common kitchen wher you and your friends can cook. Accesible for public transport. The bus stop is close and it is easy to find when it is your first time to come to Copenhagen.

A friend and I went to Copenhagen for one night and two days of sightseeing, and paid for a private room between us which actually had four beds in it. The room was very clean and adequate and great value for Copenhagen (which is different to great value generally!) The hotel charges for sheets but provides duvets and pillows, so... More

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Location of the hostel was great. We got a very basic room but with an amazing view. Wifi in the room could have been better - our room was the second last from the elevator. Cleanliness of the room could also be improved - we found bloodstains on a pillow and an old snus... More

Bit apprehensive about staying at a hostel, it was my first experience but I was pleasantly surprised. Being a little mature in years (not in attitude) and also being accustomed to the finer things in life, I was hesitant but was proved wrong! :) Room was basic but clean, lifts worked well :), staff ready to help - i lost... We had a family room with a queen bed, two bunks and a private bathroom. The room was very basic, but just what we needed. The hotel was very quiet, and we had a wonderful view of Tivoli out our large window. The breakfast was worth buying as it's very convenient with a good selection of rolls, meats and cheeses.... I visited Dan Hostel in June 2016 and had a fantastic stay. Our 6 bed private dorm was large and tidy with plenty of natural light flooding in the windows. Staff were helpful and assisted us with anything we needed. The elevators seemed to take ages in busy times due to the system they have in place so often faster... More

Extremely large, well located, clean hostel - but very pricy! Breakfast is only worth the cost if you secretly make a luncheon sandwich as well. Renting their bicycles is worthwhile and easy to do. Be careful they charge 2.75% for every credit card transaction - better to get cash from an ATM then pay their high fees.

Hi Spowderhound. Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, Copenhagen is an expensive city compared to many other places. But we do offer some of the cheapest accomodation in down town Copenhagen. There is only a fee if you pay with credit card. Payment with debit card is without fees. I am happy to hear, that you enjoyed the bike rental.... More

We booked a two bed room apartment, as we are traveling with our parents. Both room sizes are very generous. As its on 17th floor, the view is breathtaking. Bathroom is spacious and with washing machine. It's very convenient for family travel. Staff are friendly and helpful. We are very happy with our choice.

It's a good hostel. Good quality beds, nice and very helpful staff. It's somewhat close to a lot of Copenhagen's Attractions. Their Breakfast Buffet is also okay. You can rent bed linen. I think it's a nice and good place. I would recommend to people I know

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
