My partner and I have just returned from a long weekend away in Copenhagen, we stayed 3 nights at the Absolan hotel. The staff were fantastic and were very helpful, the breakfast was simple bit more than enough. The hotel it's self is very clean and modern. My only gripe was the size of our room, it was very small, with half a wardrobe right Infront of the door when you walked in, as we didn't spend much time in the room wasn't a massive issue but I could see it being for others. The location of the hotel is brilliant 2 minute walk to the station and 5 to Tivoli gardens loads of bars and restaurants around the area.

Dear Andcaity Thank you for letting us know of your pleasant stay with us. It is always hugely motivating on our end to receive positive feedback about our team from our valued guests like you. The smaller rooms are very charming and functional for those who don't spend time in their room unless when sleeping. We have different room types that vary in size. I suggest booking a Family Room or a Superior Room to those who wish to stay in a more spacious room. The location of the hotel definitely is one of the major pros; conveniently located in walking distance to the main attractions, just by the central station for further exploring of both Denmark and Sweden, and nearby the Meatpacking district with numerous restaurants and galleries. We look forward to welcome you back on your next visit. Best regards Cathrine Johansen Guest Relations Team

Hotel's Favorite
The title of this review is ‘the most beautiful hotel I’ve even stayed in’ and it’s probably not to everyone’s taste, but I personally love how the interior of this hotel looks. Those vibrant colours are one of the main reasons why we chose to stay in it. The outside looks grand too. Since the appearance is 5* I’m pleased to say the experience of staying there was 5* as well. The staff were welcoming and professional upon our arrival. Check-in was extremely fast because we’d completed our form electronically beforehand. When we entered our room we found it to be in good condition and again, very beautifully decorated. The 5* touch though was to leave a card welcoming us by name to the hotel, as well as a small gift. The visit happened to be for our 10th anniversary so we found this to be really lovely. The breakfast was nice. I’ve become a drinker of fruit tea as a result of the delicious teas they serve. Next to the buffet area is the bar, which often had a happy hour during which the drinks prices were very reasonable for a hotel bar, or a bar in Copenhagen (or both). It’s also a wonderful place to sit and have a drink if you like the interior design like I say. In terms of other facilities we used, we were able to change some money at the reception without a charge, and similarly the luggage room was free. The location is excellent. The central train station is a five-minute walk away and there are numerous bars and restaurants within a five to ten-minute walk. The overall price was good value in this regard, when compared to the increase to stay for example in the centre of Amsterdam rather than the outskirts. Overall then I struggle to find a negative point to make. This hotel was amazing and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a fantastic place to stay in Copenhagen.

Thank you for this detailed feedback about your recent 5- star experience here in Absalon Hotel! It is an honor to be the most beautiful hotel you’ve ever stayed in. The hotel’s modern, vibrant décor by Designers Guild with details highlighting Danish “hygge” is certainly something unique and charming that we are proud to offer to our valued guests. Lovely to note that we were able to meet, if not exceed, your expectations and that you enjoyed your overall stay from the room décor, the breakfast and delicious organic teas, the hotel’s accessible location, and most of all, the service of our wonderful staff, our best asset. They are dedicated individuals who are always inclined to creating memorable experiences for our guests. They would be delighted that their hard work paid off and we are all looking forward for your next stay. Kindest regards, Joyce Ausan-Louv Guest Relations Officer Absalon Hotel

The hotel is only a few minutes from Copenhagen central station so on a very rare occasion we got the train form the airport (which was great value, very frequent and fast at 13 minutes) so airport to hotel was no more than 20 ins total. Our room was a tad compact but was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast area was large with a decent choice albeit busy every morning. There was always somewhere to sit, no shortage of food and staff to help with coffee etc. The bar was a bonus with decent background music, a nice setting which encourage us to have pre and post dinner drinks there very day. The hotel is close to many decent restaurants of every kind and value along with the metro stop very near too.

We were 4 couples at the end of November 2021 in a hotel for a 5 day of Christmas vacation . its a big family hotel. We got 4 spacious rooms that were defined for some reason as small..bedroom and bathroom with toilet. Everything was clean and tidy. The dining room was large and the meal was delicious and varied. The entire staff is welcoming and eager to help. The location is excellent. Metro station a 3-minute walk away. The hotel area is full of restaurants and convenience store. The price per night is attractive and that is why the good recommendations on the site. We highly recommend the hote

Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Booked a twin/double and when we arrived (although I had emailed them to ask that we have a twin bedded room) we were allocated a double. However, the receptionist was most helpful and managed to sort it out. Breakfasts were excellent although not many people were wearing masks. If you don't have housekeeping, the hotel offers you bike rental for a day or an item from their product range or a DKK100 bar voucher. Lovely idea. Would definitely stay here again.
