I have visited so many different hotels around the world, and very few hotels makes me want to leave a great review, but Babette Hotel which is a part of Guldsmeden Hotels in Copenhagen is really something else. I love it! Its so obvious how the team around the hotel have been doing a major effort in creating a warm, welcoming, personal and lovely environment where you as a guests just want to stay and not go home! So amazing that everything is thought through and there is made a great effort in not acting harmful to the environment. Thank you all at Guldsmeden. We will come back and do our outmost to spread the words of your amazing work. We really appreciate it.

Babette Guldsmeden exceeded expectations in every way! The staff were very helpful - they gave me restaurant recommendations and booked a taxi for me. Check in and out was very easy. The room had so many extra special touches and had so much personality. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel had more toiletries than any other I've stayed in. It made me feel very pampered. I declined to have my room cleaned one day and I was given a paper bag outside my door with fresh towels and toilet paper!!! How thoughtful. I paid for breakfast one of the mornings and it was so fresh. There were the expected breakfast items, but also some unexpected ones like salad and filled eggs. It was delicious although a bit pricey. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay at Babaete Hotel. A really good hotel with a really really good breakfast, one of the best I had. We also had a dinner with the family that was really great and appreciated, this since we had a Vegan, Vegetarian in the family. About the room just want to have the chance to choose pillows from down too fiber or not down. Regarding the mattress I felt that ot wasn't straight. So the beds could be better otherwise a really good hotel in a good neighborhood. There was a safe also in the room that wast attached to the wall or the bench. I travel a lot so I feel safe when there is a safe in the room but it must be mounted so you can't carry it with you. Regards Rikard

Stayed for 3 nights in February so the outdoor areas were not in use. About 7 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotels own restaurant was perfectly ok too.

The room was on the small side which was compounded by putting a whacking great 4 poster bed in there so not much room to move around or put cases anywhere. Bathroom was the size of a broom cupboard but at least the shower worked reasonably ok. There doesn't appear to be any Aircon in the room so temperature control is via a radiator and a window that can be opened. There's a very small safe which won't fit a laptop and the choice of English language TV channels is sparse.

This place is ok but I'm assuming there are probably better hotels in Copenhagen at this price point.

We were in room 515. A really beautiful view. The quirky building means that every room is different with charming details held over from the industrial use of the building, The room lives up to its "Eco" billing and is generously stocked with a variety of eco-friendly amenity products. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the rough weave towels were surprisingly soft and absorbant. The breakfast was varied and generous with fresh bread and butter, eggs, bacon, chesses and cereals. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating.

I've stayed at least 3 times at Babette since 2019. First time I fell in love with everything but especially the location and the breakfast. Next time the breakfast was ok and I invited a friend (not a hotel guest) who wasn't impressed at all. Last stay with 2 friends was a kind of disappointment. Room perfect - as always - but sadly the atmosphere was not friendly, warm or welcoming. The breakfast did not have the lovely chia pudding or grapefruit and was like a common hotel breakfast. A little improvement on the Sunday. The barman wasn't friendly in the evening nor in the morning, when working with breakfast. To order coffee other than the ordinary was a bit hard even though we where willing to payed extra. We felt as difficult guests for every personel working. When checking out the bathroom products was sold out and I bought an open tester without a test-label on, was discovered at home.

Great hotel with great service. Although not spacious, the room and bathroom were thoughtfully appointed with space for luggage and hanging clothes, spa-quality bath amenities, comfy and high quality bedding. We loved the rooftop lounging area, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was excellent, and there were several indoor and outdoor seating areas for dining and drinking. Location was great for strolling the Kastellet, 10 minute walk from a train station. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely one-night stay at Guldsmeden Babette with our dog. The rooms are really cozy, bed is comfortable, in-room products are luxurious and their digital guest journey kept us informed and made us feel very well seen and appreciated. We also ate at the restaurant's garden (because of the dog), but it was a very nice experience with warm atmosphere, good fish food and really lovely service.

What a lovely hotel in a great location with wonderful staff. The rooms are eclectic in their design and the hotel has some really quirky/charming touches throughout. The bar buzzed in the evening, the food is delicious and the beach restaurant just adds to the experience.

In June 2023 we visited this pretty and easily accessible hotel in Copenhagen for the first time as part of our workation. For a week, we ran our remote office in the morning in a very tastefully furnished junior suite with excellent WiFi and enjoyed the advantages of a romantic bathroom and the cozy balcony with a view of the quiet inner courtyard.

We visited the Skagen restaurant several times for breakfast and dinner. None of our culinary wishes remained unfulfilled. The concept of sustainability was also lived by, because the buffet was high quality and rich, but not wasteful.

We also recommend the small rooftop spa with a seating area, sauna and a direct view of the Marmorkirken and over the roofs of Copenhagen.

The picture is rounded out by the very authentic, friendly aura of the staff, from the Check-in to small assistances, excursion tips, visitation suggestions - simply throughout all areas.

The hotel is located directly at Kastellet and almost everything in Copenhagen can be reached on foot, with a rental bike or with the very good public transport network. So we loved spending our afternoons and evenings with beautiful walks.

In this way, not only the lovely city of Copenhagen secured a place in our hearts, we will certainly be happy to remain loyal guests to Babette Guldsmeden in the future. And so we started our new tradition by enjoying the Christmas atmosphere of Denmark's capital during a second stay at Babette in November 2023.

Hi Rachel, Sorry for the delayed response. This hotel has three locations in Copenhagen and the managment are really great and so would be able to guide you as to which property would best suit your event. The location I stayed in has a sweet rooftop lounge area and the restaurant is really beautiful, especially at night. It might be perfect. Hope i'm not too late with the information!
