This accommodation combines the convenience of staying in an apartment with the comfort of a hotel. We have stayed at an Adina apartment hotel previously and this one did not disappoint. We had a one bedroom apartment which was clean and spacious with good amenities.. As is usual for the Adina chain, the reception staff provided a first class service. We were in Copenhagen for our daughter's wedding and without exception all staff members were extremely supportive and helpful. The reason that I haven't given the Adina five stars is that the location was not as central as I hoped. There is a supermarket in the same block which was useful and a small restaurant opposite but otherwise few local facilities. We had a meal in the hotel's restaurant which was of a good standard. In summary I would definitely recommend the Adina if location is not an issue.

Hotel's Favorite
Spacious clean apartments. The juniorsuite had a little balcony with a glimpse of the water, and a fine little kitchen to cook coffee/tee og small meals. The hotel is close to lots of places like Netto (same building), Geranium and the subway. Nice walks in the area too. A parking spot in the celler cost 250 kr and that's cheap. All in all very good value, especially if you stay several days.

This apartment hotel used to be nice. Don’t get me wrong. The rooms are ok but being used by party kids now. I have stayed at this hotel 8 times. Last 2 times it been the same. The staff do nothing. I tried to end a huge party in the room next to us. Kids from all over. So not group of friends that travel together. The sauna was closed. At our visit. The jacuzzi was closed only the gym and pool was open. Pool a bit cold. But works. The cleaning of the room I think was so so. I will probably look for other place when in Denmark next time.

Dear Traveler Thank you for choosing Adina Apartment Hotel for your stay in Copenhagen and for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Unfortunately, Covid-19 has created many challenges for us all, and we have done our best to navigate through this pandemic. Unfortunately when it comes to people having parties in our hotel there is often not much we can do other than to ask them to stop. If they do not do so we can ask them to leave the property , if they do not comply, then we call the police, but unfortunately this is not a high priority for them. We have not had a Jacuzzi since 2017 and the Sauna was closed due to Covid-19. Should you have any further comments or suggestions, then please do not hesitate to contact me directly via email to mkruse@adina.eu We hope that despite all, you enjoyed your time in Copenhagen. Best regards Maria Kruse Duty Manager

As a well travelled person all over the world due to my work, I can say without any doubt that this is my worst hotel experience ever. Gold medal of Worst Place. When I checked-in, I found pretty much 40-50 dead flies on the floor in my room. I called the reception, and had almost to insist to be moved to another room (they first said, “It s not a big problem as the flies are dead... it s probably because they got stuck when we closed the windows.. we can bring you a vacuum if you want to vacuum it yourself”). I am not sure what was worse: the dead flies or the explanation.. The receptionist/ manager came to the room to double check, and accepted to move me to another room - after insisting. The 2nd room I got: I couldn’t literally keep the door of the bathroom open as there was a very strong smell coming from the bathroom pipes... I asked again the receptionist to come and check it. He admitted that the smell was very strong and unpleasant, and suggested me to potentially wait until the next day to see if the smell would go after cleaning it. After discussing, he accepted to move me to another room immediately. Today I was asked by the receptionist why I moved several times to another room (in a rude way)... and was literally laughed at when I explained the dead flies on the floor. He even asked: “Oh, did you really count how many flies were on the floor?”. I might have been unlucky with the 2 rooms, which can sometimes happen, but I found it chocking to have to justify myself (about dead flies), being laughed at, and not even seeing them a bit apologetic about the situation. It s my 5th night (on a 30-day booking), and I am already looking at other places as I have never had such bad experience across the world: - The receptionists I spoke to are unfriendly/ rude and clearly don’t know what customer service means - Cleaning is definitely not a priority (as having dead flies seems normal) - Most rooms are dark (no sunlight at all). There is only one side of the hotel (with 3 rooms per floor) that have sunlight.. so you better choose carefully. - Have low expectation regarding the equipment in the kitchen as it s very old (none of my knife in the kitchen is even able to cut a tomato). - You can smell of stale cigarette smoke in the hallway of some floors - (be aware that housekeeping is only once a week). I wouldn’t even recommend this place to an enemy.

The hotel itself is decent (not for the price though), but the treatment by the daily supervisor is unlike anything I've ever experienced in hospitality. When we arrived, we parked right outside to drop off our suitcases. I then asked the afternoon clerk about parking (he was very polite) and he said that parking out in front should be ok since it was a bank holiday and a weekend, as long as we made sure to book through EasyPark. When EasyPark didn't work he expected it to be ok. I don't blame him for the recommendation, now they know and now I know as well. But the treatment we received from his supervisor was hostile and downright vile. The only thing I would have expected at this point was empathy for the misunderstanding and the situation. Instead i ended up paying 950kr. For the room, 800kr. In a parking fee and another 250kr. For parking downstairs. And to top it off, he spitefully said at the end: and I've also decided to charge you for the room extension (that he had given us for free that morning). He ended up honouring that, but to have someone in hospitality lash out like that is astounding to me. If this is Adina's understanding of hospitality, I'd advice anyone against staying there. There are amazing 4 star options in Copenhagen with great service, better location and better prices (Admiral hotel is where we'll stay in the future)
