Hotel Løven is currently closed due to water damage. I was informed of this two days ago with my planned visit within a week. This alone would have been okay had they even attempted to make alternative arrangements. Instead upon contacting them there advice was simply check booking.com, furthermore they have so far failed to refund my booking or even... More

I booked Hotel Loven via booking.com with free cancelation option, but the hotel took my money (1037,5 DKK) before my cancelation date. When I wrote this stuation to the hotel, they wrote late answers and only said they did not take the money but my bank verified that the hotel was taken my money. When I arrived to the hotel... The hotel was expensive but there is very little choice in central Copenhagen. Other available hotels were MUCH more expensive. The rooms felt like dormitories with no tv and a tiny ensuite. The room we got had 5 single beds so it was quite big. The room was spotlessly clean. The corridors were narrow an a bit smelly but there... More

In 25 years of international traveling I have never stayed at a worse hotel. Is was so bad it was funny. Couldn't even get in the door for over an hour. Incredibly cheap and nasty. No TV, no water glass, no shampoo. The kind of place that asylum seekers would be housed while waiting for their cases to be reviewed.... More

Worst customer service and basically they will just rip you off...i booked it through booking.com and wanted to change my booking but the most uncooperative behavior and rude staff over the phone. in the end was almost bullied into staying in this hotel because they did not allow me to modify anything in my booking dates as well

Nice plain room.Very nice lady in charge of the reception! She was very helpful and funny. Many shops on Vesterbrogade and on Istedgade where you can find a lot of hip places for shopping, coffeeshops and bars.Nice area. Be aware of the many cyclists, the road is busy. This is a hotel for guests who are used to travel on... More

The location is good, nor excellent but good. The access to the rooms is not good, after the lift you always have stairs (not good with luggage and babies...). The room was nice, but the "improvised" bathroom is too small, the shower on the floor, I didn't love it... There is no breakfast also. I think this is more a... More

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
