Hotel SP34 is a new 4+ boutique hotel situated in Copenhagen's old Latin Quarter. The hotel is positioned 100 meters from the Town Hall Square and the pedestrian street Stroget but nevertheless it is placed in its own natural environs with a great neighborhood; a bohemian area with high ceilings, cool restaurants, vintage shops, churches, bars and a university milieu. We hope that you agree with us and we are looking forward to welcome you to Hotel SP34. Hotel SP34 has garnered compliments for its central location in Copenhagen, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The staff at the hotel receive accolades for their friendliness, although there is room to enhance service efficiency. Guests have expressed appreciation for the hotel's stylish atmosphere, yet some find the rooms disappointing due to their size and lack of amenities. While the wine hour is a unique feature that has been well-received, opinions are mixed about the hotel's value, with some citing cleanliness issues and pricing concerns.

I had heard a few things about the Brochner Hotel line as being touted as a new chain of design-centric hotels and hostels. I decided to give Hotel SP34 a try to see what they're all about and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the furnishings, the excellent service, location, and overall value for the money. While the room I rented is a bit on the smaller side, they designed it very efficiently and it had everything I could ask for in a hotel room. Everything is well placed and organized, and it was surprising to me how much they were able to comfortably fit in a room that's typically smaller than double rooms I've booked previously. The interior furnishings are top-notch as far as creating a warm and comfortable room to come back to at the end of the day. On top of that, the reception customer service is excellent, and they personally saw to any concerns I had during my stay. The included wine happy hour is such a huge plus that should be a standard at every hotel as it's a wonderful way to wind the day down, meet new people, or prepare for more activities in the evening. The bar selection is definitely the best I've ever experienced at a hotel in the price range and has an impressive array of mid to high end wines, ports, and hard liquor. The location is also very good and is only a few minutes walk away from public transportation. It's also a bit outside of the main city throughfares so it's in a generally quiet neighborhood which I appreciated. Overall, it was the perfect place to host my 5 day stay in Copenhagen and I would highly recommend future visitors to check it out!

First of all, THANK YOU for an amazing stay at this beautiful stylish and absolutely wonderful hotel. I can for sure say I will come back - in fact we are already looking into coming back next month!

I received a text message the day before saying i could check in 'express' and avoid the queue. So I did.. But it didn't went through so I have to pass by the reception anyway. When speaking with the receptionist she asked if I have already checked in and I said no.. It wouldn't allow me to.. So she checked up on it and say: oh! Thats because we have upgraded you to my personal favourite room! It's room 419 with a balcony.. Oh! What a lovely suprise!!!

When we got up to the room I looked around and it felt like a home.. WAUW! I had a big bathtub, balcony with two sun chairs, big bed, big couch, big everything.. Absolutely stunning room. I was curious about what room it was, as I booked a superior room but ended in their premium suite!!!! I have stayed in many different luxury hotels but nothing could beat this. No way I can find a better hotel than this one in Denmark. There was happy hour to enjoy a free glass of wine in the reception and the room was so clean with the perfect amount of pillows and the lightning was perfect. There was a cinema, gym and terrace and really nice lobby.

The breakfast area is in VÆKST which is a gorgeous restaurant by night but just as gorgeous in the morning. So many things to do on this hotel that we almost didn't wanted to go out!

The hotel is perfect located, walking distance to pretty much everything. Due to corona there is hand sanitizers free of use and the breakfast was all in portion so nothing was ''out''.

The price was ''low'' compared to what you get out of the stay. It could be more expensive but it's not. You will get so much value for the money you pay.

I can for sure say the hotel is up and above all hotels in Copenhagen and I don't think they get enough credit for how great this hotel is. We almost discussed whether we should buy the whole place or not because that was how much we loved it.

We will be back - and we will this time book room 419 before we arrives!

Thank you all for your kind service at this beautiful hotel.. We cannot wait to be back!

We loved our stay at Hotel SP24. Everything was perfect and relaxed and we couldn't have asked for more. Hotel and room design is stylish and minimal - rooms are so quiet for a city stay.
The staff are really friendly and talkative and always greet you with a smile. The bar area is a nice place to wind down after the day and have a glass of (free) wine during wine hour. Stay longer to try the beer!
I would highly recommend breakfast at the hotel. Its buffet style, but all healthy and organic with scrambled egg portioned in to glass ramekins with lids so they stay warm and perfectly creamy. There is a good selection and you will not be starting your day on am empty stomach. The staff here are also excellent and will welcome you warmly and ask of you want a nice coffee or tea.
Reception were also very helpful in booking us a couple of taxis and giving information and nothing was too much trouble. Also, the hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here for your Copenhagen trip. Everything is quite nearby. Nyhaven is about a 20 minute walk and there plenty to take in on the way. 1 minute up the road from the hotel is the Skt Peders Bageri. You will walk past it but definitely go in and have some of the pastries and a coffee if you can get a seat! They are incredible!

This is in a good location and the room design and hotel design is cool but that’s all cover for a below average hotel. If you have all of that but can’t provide service, then it just feels like a ploy. Staff didn’t inform us breakfast was included so we ate out for two mornings. When we needed assistance with how to ship a package of stuff back to the US, three people at reception couldn’t figure out what I eventually figured out online: that there is a DHL office a few blocks away as well as a full service pack-and-ship service a ten minute can ride away. When we asked for help finding a local laundry service they sent us to a dry cleaner. We found our own washing service across town ourselves. The online checkin service felt like a ploy as they upcharge you 50Dkk to chose your room. But not all the rooms are equal in size or other features, though the pictures on the checkin are all the same. So you are paying extra to chose but it’s still a total crap shoot (we ended up changing rooms the second day as the first was tiny, noisy, smoky (from the street), didn’t have a “scenic view”. The second room was higher up on the courtyard with a view onto trees, and much larger. A WAY better room on all counts. AND it had the king bed we prefer. The closets are these nutty contraptions with all these metal brackets and rolling mirrors but with almost no place to actually put your clothes. At one point the entire gaming bar collapses with all our clothes. We reattached it but when we told the reception what had happened they didn’t come to inspect or ensure it was solid again. The beds are quite hard. In both rooms we tried this was the case. The lighting is basically for show and has no practical or functional benefit. The heated floors in the bathroom were nice.

Stayed here for 2 nights, arriving very late on Friday night. The door was securely locked and we were let in by a member of staff. We stayed in a Suite which was clean and comfortable, although not as big as the photos make it seem to be. The tv's in the room weren't working very well, one had tv only, one hooked up to the internet but didn't have any apps. This wasn't something we brought to the attention of staff though so might have been fixed had we done so.
The hotel looks great, the bar is cosy and has lots of nice seating areas and Juris who worked the night shift at the bar was absolutely fantastic, very attentive and made us feel really welcome and gave us some great tips about what to do around the city.
The Suite had lots of drinks included in the rate which you could have at any time, other rooms also had a free wine hour as well as a nightcap hour which was a really nice touch and made the hotel feel really sociable.
A nice stay and I would stay again, especially if Juris was dishing out the Prosecco!

The rooms are small, without any comfort more than the minimum necessary. Our room had a curtain in the shower (not even glass) which is not at all recommendable on a hygienic level and is not at all compatible with a 4 star rating; furthermore the room was very dark and noisy, above the restaurant from which the smells rose. We asked to change it and the second one was only less dark and with the glass shower, otherwise still very small even though we had taken the "superior" category and without even a real wardrobe for clothes. The hair dryer was broken. Terrible service at breakfast, they brought us coffee after such a long wait that we had already finished eating a while ago. The breakfast tables are on two floors but the buffet is only on the lower floor, so if you have the table upstairs every time you want to reserve you have to take the stairs; on the other hand, if you have a table downstairs, where the buffet is, there are no windows. They asked us to pay upon arrival, when usually hotels always charge at the end of the stay and the price was €30 more than what was insured on Booking: a difference that is absolutely not justifiable for a simple bank commission.

Good location and nice design of the hotel. However horrible service and staff. We asked upon booking to be able to check in earlier due to having important plans for the evening. When we got to the hotel a very rude woman informed us that this is not possible (even though we had got an email saying they would try). 30min later our friends managed to check in early even though they never asked for it. At a hotel of this class you would except then to try and meet their customers requests and swap us to a room that was already cleaned. The room cleaning was also not to a high standard (only changed the sheets) and breakfast was ok but over priced.

We enjoyed our stay at SP34 Hotel. The location is super, the staff efficient and friendly. Room, lounges and bar decorations reflect the Danish good taste and design. The three restaurants/cafés connected to the hotel are great. Considering the rate though, we found the room too small which, because of the high temperature was found to be very warm and scarcely ventilated too. Cleaning was not accurate and we had to ask for replacing mat or towel or soap.

Hotel SP34 was the perfect destination for our relaxing holiday. Located within walking distance of the train station and incredibly central for anything you might want in central Copenhagen. The room (junior suite) was not very big but had everything included that we needed, and the room service and breakfast included in the price was a great addition. Wine hour and the nightcap hour were a fun element and really appreciated.

Pluses:
Great breakfast, possibility to checkin 2 hours beforehand, good location, nice extra perks like wine hour & nigthcap hour & room service for junior suite.

BIG minus:
Possibility to get room right next to ”urban terrace”, ie place where loud people talk and music plays. Checkin was possible to do with app where you can checkin and pay tiny extra for selecting eg quiet room or with view (shouldnt all rooms by default be somewhat quiet?). The room (114) we got had neither. Also unfortunate to having seasonal booking with somewhat short notice, so it was actually the most expensive hotel I had ever booked (over 500e/night). Perhaps if we had gotten any other room, maybe hotel wouldve been fine. At booking site it was advertised as family friendly.

Oh and room size was also very small for 4 persons, roughly could fit all luggage (no any storages inside) . Also missing refridgerator. Room was junior suite, I think name usually should suggest at least some spaciouness.

If you are having young adult trip with pubs and/or clubs, this is not a concern. We unfortunately had family trip, and Im sure anyone been in this room previously, especially during holiday/weekend (our case: ascension day, friday), couldnt have unnoticed the loudness. Not that music lasted till too late hours (ended before 10.30pm, first night we mentioned about it and they stopped 9.30). BUT various groups visited at the terrace after that (midnight and even 5.30am), always with loud talk (ie it was open 24/7). We had no other choice than stay, cause there were no free rooms even in other hotels for family. Also I would expect earlier hours of evening to have peace of relaxing atmosphere, too. Even our kids asked ”Dad, what’s that music?”

So for our experience it is 2*, any quiet room perhaps 3-4*
