We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October for my birthday. The hotel was absolutely stunning, so well warm and clean. The staff were so lovely and friendly - their english was even better than mine! So happy we stayed here, our...More
Stayed for two nights at the Bertrams Guldsmeden hotel in June 2018. Copenhagen hotels are expensive, and, in general, not the greatest quality or value. Thus we were particularly thrilled to find this hotel-- not ridiculously expensive, and with great service. There's a simplicity to...More

Home to a large shopping center and cinema complex named Fisketorvet (Fish Square), this area includes numerous shops, several restaurant as well a state of the art IMAX theatre. This shopping center is situated at the harbor front, and as Copenhagen is one of the cycling capitals of the world, also sports two of the most interesting bridges in the city: one for cyclists only called Cykelslangen (“Cycle Snake”) which weaves
through the modern buildings around Fisketorvet. The other, Bryggebroen, which is both for pedestrians and cyclists, takes you across the harbor to Islands Brygge.
