I stayed here just for a night and i found the hostel optimal, they have free parking ( one of the few in the city) probably helped by the outdoor location, extremly tidy and quiet. Not my first hostel in Denmark but defenitly the most silent :)

We stayed in a two-bed-room for two nights. The room was recently renovated, everything was fresh and clean. Two separate beds, that could be placed together if one wishes. Bathroom was great - floor heating does make a difference! (Maybe I should add that I'm very picky about cleaning and smells :-) ...) It is NOT TRUE that you have...

It's quite a nice place with lots of facilities. Location is also OK, with reasonable distance to either Copenhagen center or the airport (public transport in both directions is rather close). The prices seems slightly high for a hostel.  The room we got was as expected - which is to say it was just a place to spend the night...

We stayed here in February for a few days whilst attending LegoWorld in the nearby conference centre. As accommodation is expensive in Denmark this is a lower-cost alternative although the hostel system takes a bit of getting used to if you're not from Scandinavia. As our accommodation was paid for this time it wasn't an issue for us but the...

Since we arrived by metro with plenty of luggage, we had to take the bus just for 2 stops and drag bags too the hotel ! Not much around there except if you want to do some jogging. Any markets/shops are 2 km away at least and that is why the Hostel has some snacks (and a good kitchen also)....

i stayed here for a night on a short visit of Copenhagen with friends. This Danhostel is a bit out of the city center, and the area it's in didn't seem to have much going on, so i was glad we had a car. All 4 of us knew about Scandinavian hostels, so had brought our own bedlinens/towels. We had...

The hostel is reasonably priced, that is until you get there and they charge you a hostel membership fee, charge you for linen and whatever else they can think of to squeeze extra cash from you. The hostel itself was clean and a nice place to be but they have too many rules in place, one being you can only...

The location is nice, just at the edge of Amager Fælled and not too far from the metro. But this place is charging hotel prices for hostel quality! Because I am not a member of the YHA I had many fees added to my bill and charged extra to rent sheets. The bedroom had a nice little table and two...

This hostel is noce enough. Clean rooms, pretty decent location, fairly quiet. We had a five bed room with a private bath, and there was plenty of room for us. The price was also right. There were a few cons, mostly involving the staff. When we arrived, it was 11:30PM, and we had been traveling most of the day in...

Staying in Amager

Neighborhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
