The room and the bed were VERY small - you even cannot place a yoga mat on the ground - but spotlessly clean. The furniture looked all new, the bathroom is fine and the wifi works without any hickups. Breakfeast in the cosy pub downstairs comes with a good buffet, though unfortunately with filter coffee only. The staff is friendly,...

Stayed for one night in Hotel Amager, Copenhagen. Its near to CPH Airport and can be reached very easily via bus or train. I and my friend stayed for one night in double bed room. Check in and out was very smooth and quick. Room was tidy and bathroom was clean with basic amenities. On the ground floor of the...

The nicest staff. The best atmosphere. The greatest service. Experience it yourself. You will not be disappointed! The hotel bar is one of those great places in the world where you just feel welcome and time finds a way to slow down a bit for you and spare you the opportunity to savor the moments.

I booked here for one night, but ended up leaving. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe (I was travelling alone). The room was clean, but very hot and stuffy (even though the windows were open) and the traffic noise was horrendous. The "reception" is actually part of a bar/pub - that should have told me enough. Now don't get me...

The title of this review is a very good summary of the hotel. Copenhagen is a very expensive city for hotels. Hence, I looked for something reasonably priced and still close to the city and airport. Only 6 Metro stops from the airport and 2 from the city center. People are very friendly. The breakfast is fairly good, although nothing...

I've booked it as the place seems to be good located in the city, as it was second time in Denmark, we've choose a hotel around the metro line, so it's and also around a shopping centre at has a very good restaurant there that we went twice because the food was amazing! However the room was classic and fresh...

Nice room, better than expected compared to budget, not far away from christianhavn walking so well located. Quiet, as the service, the breakfast does the job. we just would have enjoyed sample shower gel in the bathroom. To recommend for a weekend

This is an old building hotel and because it hasn't been renovated for a while, I guess, it is not so comfortable. We were there in December 2014 and since it was cold outside, we wanted to fell cosy and warm after a long day in the wind, but our room had only heater and it was not enough given...

Was not sure what to expect when I booked this. There was a doctors conference on so rooms in Copenhagen were ridiculously expensive, however found this gem. Situated above a sports bar, not far from the metro, this place was certainly not flashy, however very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Will stay again.

This hotel is a budget hotel. Copenhagen is expensive. This was £93 a night. It's no frills but the location is good. Not quite central but close enough. Rooms were basic and clean. They did that European thing of putting two twin beds together. The staff is friendly and the person checking you in does double-duty bar tending at the...

Staying in Amager

Neighborhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
