Family of 4 (mom, dad and 2 teens) recently stayed at the Hotel Bethel in the Nyhavn area of Copenhagen before and after our Baltic cruise. Communication with the hotel at the time of booking was very easy to deal with and promptly answered any questions we had. We booked a family room and the price included breakfast. The location... Hotel Bethel was wonderful! We stayed here three nights prior to a cruise and loved it! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a corner room for three of us and it was huge in European standards. We had plenty of room, the beds were comfortable and looking out onto the canal in NyHaven was fantastic. Yes, there... Stayed at Hotel Bethel for two nights. It was a great location, everything in walking distance. Breakfast was good, twenty-four hour fresh coffee was handy. Clerks were helpful. Our room for 2 was on the small side, we expected that. It was clean and had free wi-fi. The only cons were, as two women, there was only one mirror in... More

I liked this place because of its proximity to other attractions. Also staying on the Nyhavn street is always a good one because you have plenty of food options and also infront of the colorful houses. The only reason i dont give 5 star for this because there is a scope of improvement in their breakfast menu.

Stayed at the Bethel for 2 nights prior to a Baltic cruise. We caught the metro from the airport and the Bethel was a 10 minute walk away. The location is superb. Right by the canal overlooking the colourful merchants houses, boats, bars and restaurants. We had a deluxe corner room which was very spacious. No wardrobe however just a... More

We stayed at the Bethel Hotel recently. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind. There were no frills but we only slept and ate breakfast there as we were out all day. Breakfast was great. Loved that you could get coffee or hot tea when you wanted it. The location was perfect.

We stayed at the Hotel Bethel for two nights pre-cruise. What a great location! The staff was friendly and helpful. They made recommendations for the best priced canal tour and (non touristy) places to eat. We had a large corner room with a great view of the canal. The room was clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast had a large... More

We stayed here in June 2016 pre and post cruise. I have to say that the staff was beyond kind to us. The room was sufficient for my husband and I, and the location was excellent. Within walking distance to many beautiful sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if we ever make it back to... More

We stayed at the Bethel Hotel in Nyhavn during our visit to Copenhagen and it provided clean, comfortable, safe, homey accommodation for a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful in providing information about the city, restaurants, tours, transportation, etc. Reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival when we were booking. The hotel provides an... More

super location, wonderful view if you have a room overlooking the canal. Quiet rooms due to double glazing. Don't expect luxury ... bring your own kleenex. Mind your step in and of the shower-room. You have to see the chapel "and inspect the mine and its inscription". Good breakfast and great 24 hour coffee, friendly staff.

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
