Grab your Copenhagen travel guide. That picture on the cover? The one of boats and colorful buildings. That's where this hotel is. You are very close to the Kongens Nytorv Metro stop (be aware there is a lot of construction there). You step out the front door and you are immediately on Nyhavn. You turn right from the front door... More

Great location and great price!! Includes breakfast, the desk staff is very helpful and will store luggage. Rooms are clean....get a room on the front for a great view of the canal. Rooms are not big but has everything you need for short stay....we were there prior to a cruise.

Had a really good time in the hotel which was clean. The staff were knowledgeable and really helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. The hotel was in a great area, very close to the bars and restaurants, this did create a bit of noise but not too bad. A very pleasant stay.

The location was perfect, beautiful surroundings, within walking distance of many of the sights. The room was quite small, so too were the beds. We were in the rear of the building, which became noisy very early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper would recommend ear plugs. Breakfast was good and adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful.... More

We arrived at the hotel late on a weekday. And we were hungry. Luckily, the friendly receptionists could help us out and recommend a nearby restaurant with a kitchen still open. While the hotel itself serves breakfast, it doesn't run a restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very good. Nice selection of bread, fruits, sweet pastries, cheeses, muesli and so on...... More

We stayed here for two nights in order to attend a family gathering, as did my parents. We were quite rightly busy spending most of our time out and about with family, out of the city centre, but it was a real treat to come back to such a fabulous spot and feel that we were getting some experience of... The Bethel stands right next to the popular Nyhavn canal and that is its biggest usp other than being a well appointed boutique hotel . Try booking early for the canal view rooms which are for couples mostly . The family room has a partial view only .. The breakfast was simple but of a good quality and the front... More

One night in Nyhaven - easy to reach it by train and a little walk. From airport to the Cogens Nyrtov metro station and approx. 5 min. walk to the hotel. You are in the centre of Nyhaven - best position for exploring Sescrets of Copenhagen.

Great spot! Location right on the corner by the harbor. Walking distance from everything! And the hotel staff was so nice with recommendations. We only had a one night stay and Glen at reception was great with tips. We did a boat tour and walked to Tivoli. We had the corner room with the balcony. Worth it! I would definitely... More

Loved this hotel, right in the middle of Nyhvan, opposite the lovely coloured houses. Breakfast is really good with the usual continental flare but somehow there's is so much better. They have 24hr tea & coffee available. The staff are all super friendly and very welcoming. The price is also extremely good at approx 995 DK for a standard double... More

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
