Don't stay at the Saga, the showers are tiny, dirty, and 'shared' for each floor; Also, they charge £8 per person for breakfast, it's just croissant and coffee, no hot meal, pay extra and stay somewhere else; Copenhagen is nice, quite and clean

Great placement, 5 minutes walk from train station, 7-8 minutes walk from LIDL which is the cheapest shop close to this hotel. The staff is friendly and they help in everything you need. Rooms/showers/toilets were clean and tidy. I think this is the best option if you need a cheap accomodation for sleep in the center of Copenhagen. Special thanks...

With so many hotels high pricee and of which many offer shared bathroom/toilet facilities within Central Copenhagen, I opted for the Saga hotel in terms of location which is ideal as it's literally on the road, with a window view from the hotel that leads into the back of the cities main train and metro station; København. The station has...

If you just need hotel for sleeping, this is ideal. Shared bathrooms might be a problem for someone. Breakfast was really good on this price. Location can't be much better, it's very close to train station and Tivoli.

In all fairness I accidentally booked a room with a shared bathroom and didn't discover this until it was too late. I'm thus not giving Saga a bad rating because of it being a shared bathroom as that was part of the deal. The hotel is very close to the train station, which was the key factor in deciding on...

You can walk everywhere thought it is also very easy use public tranport. We we're happy to our room, locasion and the breakfast which was a typical danish style with buns, ham, cheese, yoghurt and müsli. You can easily manage...

Dreadful. We had booked a room for our family (one child, one baby) for three nights. Carry suitcases and baby stroller one flight of stairs to reach the reception, told that there are no elevator to reach our room on the third floor. No one to help us carry our stuff up. Then we reach our room that aledgedly had...

The title sums up everything, shared toilet, narrow corridor, poor interior. Staff are friendly though and good location. Overall the price is way too expensive for its standard. Don't recommend.......

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
