This hotel is great as its very near Copenhagen station which makes its easy to get around. There's loads of nice restaurants near by too - we found out as we arrived we were on the cusp of the red light district. The rooms were clean - there's not a huge amount of communal showers, toilets - I'd definitely think about... More

Convenient overnight stop on way to Cruise Ship, Clean reasonable priced and comfortable, bit a trek to the Toilet and Shower, wash basin in room and Wifi, disadvantage that it had no lift so we had to carry our suitcases up two flights of stairs, our friends had three flights of stairs, good breakfast and helpful receptionist.

The area behind the central station of Copenhagen has been know for years for strip clubs, prostitution and drugs. Much has happened though, it has improved a lot and I found the night I spent on Saga Hotel a rather quiet one. The situation is great for exploring Copenhagen and for getting to and from by public transportation. The hotel... More

Be advised, this is an old hostel turned "hotel." It has no lifts, so you are apt to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs. There are no toilets, showers, or air conditioning in the rooms. Our room was stifling warm. Very unremarkable and overpriced breakfast - recommend not adding at check in - plenty of nearby places to... More

Saga Hotel is situated in a centrum of Copenhagen, close to Tivoli, so for a decent price You can sleep in the heart of Danish capital. Room was clean and everything was working, the only thing we didn't like was the toilets and showers which were basicly old.

The location next to the train station was perfect for us. The room was nothing special, beds and a bathroom and it seemed clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they kept our luggage safe after check-out so we could walk around the next day.

Very close to the trainstation and Tivoli, less than a 10 minute walk to Strøget. We had a room with a private bathroom. The room was small but the bathroom was quite large. Walls were thin and the door didn't close properly so we could hear everything from the hallway. Breakfast was adequate. We were on a budget and we... More

The location is good not to far from bars and restaurants. The rooms are very small and cramped with not much room to manoeuvre around. The beds are not comfy at all. You would leave with a soar back! The staff are not friendly and have an attitude towards some of there guest, I found there behaviour was unprofessional. Would... More

Small room, the bed was bouncy, and 3 sides were against walls, the bathroom was functional, a shower with a curtain, Loo and sink, it was clean, but cramped The breakfast was great, all you can eat and drink No Bar, just service from reception for beer and coffee, there is a communal area with a TV and limited seating

It could be that I am not from Europe originally...but I found it weird that we only had a sink in our room and the shower and toilet were down the hall. It wasn't the worst thing but it would have been nicer to have a room with our own facilities. It certainly isn't the nicest hotel I have ever... More

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
