I took my 2 Daughters and Daughter in law to Copenhagen for a 3 night trip. We booked into this hotel it was set back from the street, but amazingly close to the Tivolli gardens where the Christmas Markets were. It was also very close to the bus tours , about a 10-15 min walk away.We also took a boat... More

Very good hotel for this price range. No problem finding it, good location, clean with comfy beds, staff was friendly, and the breakfast good. There is no water boiler or coffee in the room and maybe that would be something to add for some travellers - it didn't bother me though. Reason why I don't give it a full house... More

This is a clean, functional base for central Copenhagen, a short walk from the main train station. My room was fine, with a desk and TV. Fussier or more exacting travellers may find the bathroom dated and halls scuffed but that didn't put me off. Breakfast was standard fare - fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt; lovely bread; cereals; cheeses and hams;... More

... and it is dear, too! Allowing for that, it was great. Hotel was central, friendly, warm & clean. Breakfast was good (not too sure about soft boiled eggs!) New Swedish laws have impacted train times to both Sweden itself and to CPH airport. We had to wait over an hour for an airport train, which are scheduled every 20... More

Travelling to Copenhagen off a bout of flu, all I wanted on arrival was a warm hotel room and a comfortable bed, and that's exactly what I got at the Copenhagen Crown Hotel. The property looks to be a converted town house, is five storeys high, and is set back off the main street, entry being gained through a small... More

My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend in Copenhagen staying at the Copenhagen Crown Hotel and felt the need to write this review as the last one seems unjustified. We felt the hotel was excellent value for money in an expensive city. The hotel was clean and we had daily maid service. The beds were really... More

I'll start with the only positive: Location - perfectly located, walking distance to tivoli, central station and even Nyhavn if you're up for a 25min walk. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and genuinely seemed to be a safe street/area. Now the negatives: Room - dirty and smelly. The bathroom gave out a stagnant smell throughout our whole stay which... More

My friend & I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of December. Our first impressions were great, set back from the main road, the first look of it is very quaint & clean. The staff were very friendly & welcomed us in. Our room was small, but we only used the place as a base for our exploring.... More

This hotel is ideally located on the Main Street of Copenhagen. The reception staff are lovely, and the room clean, although housekeeping do call to the rooms extremely early. There is no kettle or tea making facilities, and the bathroom is basic, but it is convenient and reasonably priced.

The hotel is set back from the road via a courtyard. 7 minute walk to the station and a 20 minute train journey to the airport. Good range of restaurants nearby and Lidl and Netto 3 are both within a 3 minute walk. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Breakfast has good range of items and the buffet is re-stocked frequently.... Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
