GreenLeaders Silver level
Comfort Hotel Vesterbro has a prime location in Copenhagen's cool Vesterbro district, just 500 metres from Copenhagen Central Station. The city's many bars, restaurants and shops are just a stone's throw from the hotel. And WiFi access is completely free of charge. The coolest neighbourhood in Copenhagen Comfort Hotel Vesterbro is on Vesterbrogade, in the ultra hip Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. Over the past few years, this area has been transformed from run-down 1960s complexes to some of the nicest streets in the capital. The area is now brimming with restaurants, bars, piazzas with al fresco dining and the coolest shopping in Copenhagen. Ultra hip Kødbyen Copenhagen's very own Meatpacking District, Kødbyen, has evicted the butchers and replaced their old shops with innovative galleries, creative art studios, organic cafés and popular clubs. But if you fancy something a little more traditional, tuck into Danish sausages and pastries, or visit popular classics, like tivoli.

The hotel is probably considered hip, but for more traditional travellers it could be considered a bit worn. The reception combined with bar offers a quick check in. The rooms are a bit worn out, and look old. The bathrooms are very simple and small, and can be about cold. The rest of the room is ok but very basic

A wonderful hotel just a few minutes from downtown Copenhagen. We had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and very hearty, the room very comfortable with a very nice view over the street and the staff just lovely and warm. The ideal hotel to visit the capital of Denmark!

I had the opportunity to stay at the Comfort Hotel and my only regret was that I wasn’t able to stay longer. This hotel is AMAZING!!! From the moment that I entered, I knew that I was going to love it. There are two ways to check in. Options are self check-in right near the entrance or at the front desk. So nice and easy. There’s a bar and lounge area in the lobby and it’s very cozy. You can also purchase drinks and snacks at the Comfort Deli to take up to your room. If you are in need of more, there’s a grocery store right next store as well as plenty of restaurants to eat at. If you are someone that loves a delicious breakfast with lots of options, then you are at the right place. One of the best that I’ve had at a hotel in Europe. I left full and then some the two days that I went down to breakfast. Definitely not to be missed. Now for my room, I was in Heaven. My bed was very comfortable and I was able to relax in a warm bath at the end of my day. So nice to come back to after a day of sightseeing and all within walking distance. Plus there’s a great place to enjoy a meal or snacks right near the tv in a comfy chair. I especially loved the spot for my luggage that also had a few shelves to place some items. This room had it all. One thing that stood out in my room was a brown paper bag hanging right near the door. Upon further inspection, I could see that it was to be used to donate any extra clothing that I did not wish to take back home. I was elated as I always pack some clothes that I had planned to donate back home in my bag so I could wear it one last time and leave it behind. That way, I could come home with a backpack half full and possibly leave something that could be used again. The fact that the Comfort Hotel had a bag just for this made my day 😊 I will DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend it to friends with two thumbs up. Made my trip to Copenhagen one to remember.

Nice hotel in the center of the city just beside the central train station. Many places to visit are within walking distance e.g. Ströget and Tivoli. Good breakfast with a wide range of things to eat. Rooms are quiet and have a modern design.

My partner and I booked a romantic trip away. We are doing long distance and both work a lot, so we really value the time we have together. We booked comfort as we normally do when traveling domestically in Norway, we had spent some time trying to find a trustworthy hotel (we wanted to make sure we could relax and enjoy our time together) and actually said to one another “comfort is always good let’s go with them, then we know what we’re getting”. We could not have been more wrong. The first night we arrived and our room was super worn and didn’t feel clean. The towels were dirty (we took photos). We went to complain and the man working, who was nice and helpful, gave us a new room. Unfortunately this room was the same standard (unclean) so we decided not to bother moving our stuff and stayed in the original room and just took our towels. The whole night we were kept awake by an extremely loud vent. Neither me nor my partner could sleep that night, which ruined our next day as we were exhausted. We decided to check out early and ask for a refund. The woman at the desk was extremely dismissive and unapologetic, and did the bare minimum to help. She also told us that her colleague had actually checked us out the night before when we asked for clean towels! Luckily they agreed to refund the nights we would not be staying (I would have expected a full refund). After checking into our new hotel I noticed I’d left some items behind. I called the hotel immediately and they could not help. My partner and I went past to check, and met the same woman again. She was extremely unhelpful and told me that they had probably just thrown my things away. This is THE NEXT DAY. This was a 75 dollar bottle of face wash. To be honest, by the standard of service, I would not be surprised if she heard the price and kept it herself. By contrast we managed to forget some items at the new hotel. The day after check out we received a text with an offer to post it to us. My partner and I have agreed to NEVER stay at comfort again. We will be continuing to book with the new hotel chain we tried as their service was impeccable.
