Nestled in an area brimming with attractions, Profilhotels Copenhagen Plaza garners praise for its exceptional location and the old-world charm that permeates its atmosphere. Guests have called out the hotel's service for being notably friendly and helpful, despite occasional lapses. While the rooms are often described as spacious and comfortable, a few reviewers suggest they could benefit from better noise insulation and some modernization. The cleanliness, particularly of the rooms and bathrooms, frequently earns high marks, and the hotel's amenities, including a delectable breakfast, contribute to its reputation for good value.

Seen mixed reviews about this place but I had no problems and also have the opinion that if you are paying £110 for a double room smack in the city centre then some of the criticism is unfair. Go pay £200 - £300 if you want that sort of place.

The staff were friendly and the reception area is like stepping back into the grand old days of hotels. Lovely first impression.

The room was well appointed & clean with a decent shower, that ticks most of my boxes. The fact that some of the furniture was obviously older added to the charm rather than it being a concrete box clone room.

The restaurant was shut in the evening but no issue to me - who stays in a city centre & eats in the hotel restaurant anyway? Maybe that's just me but we want to go & have a look around...

This was a 1 day business trip but the best positive I can say is that if we were to come to Copenhagen on a personal visit I would look to book here.

Easy to find as right by the train station/Tivoli Gardens. Great location as you can walk to the centre in 10-15 minutes. To see other sights further afield then a metro day pass is advisable.
The hotel has an old school glam feel to it, especially the lift with its clear door, though it did get stuck on one occasion but from speaking to reception on the phone, it sounds like a regular occurrence and there is trick to overcome this by holding down the 'stop' button and then pressing another floor number.
The suites are large and very spacious. I was very impressed! Lovely to chill in after a long day sightseeing. We had a lovely view of the train station and Tivoli in the background. The balcony was an absolute delight, I felt like a disney princess standing there looking at the beautiful turret opposite.
The bed was very comfortable though my only gripe was they had 2 separate single duvet covers on a double bed which is odd, and it woke me up each night as the covers kept moving and I was getting cold, and had to keep adjusting it.
Housekeeping did a great job each day supplying us with fresh towels and topping up the hot drinks station. There were free cartons of water on arrival and it would have been a nice touch if they replenished this each day. I did feel that the carpet could have been cleaned better as I was positive it was not my family and I who caused the mess. Also, the room was quite dusty so I ensured I opened both balcony doors each morning to air it.
The shower was great and they supply you with everything you need, including hand lotion which is a very nice touch.
I read previous reviews about noise but I did not hear anything so I guess it was just unlucky timing for the others.
All-in-all, a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again. We kept it pretty basic and didnt use the restaurant so cannot comment on that.

Great location just steps away from the central train station, Tivoli, and Rådhuspladsen with the rest of the city not far beyond. The staff were helpful if/when we needed them, making storing our luggage before check in and after check out a breeze. The room was large for a European hotel and the sitting area was a nice addition. And of course the Library Bar a wonderful way to spend an evening or three with good drinks and good ambiance.

The curtains in our room were slightly stained but the bed and bath linens were all spotless so it wasn't a big deal to us. The elevator is a little temperamental but it's easy to avoid (and troubleshoot if/as necessary) by just reading the instructions posted inside.

Overall a great stay meeting all of our expectations and needs. Would stay again.

Dear Ashley Thanks for choosing our hotel. We are happy that you had a pleasant stay with us, and really appreciate you taking the time review it. However, we are sorry that you had a bad experience with the elevator. It is an old elevator and distance must be kept to the sensors. We hope to see you back again, please contact us before your are coming back, and we will make sure to you will have problem free stay with us next time. We wish you a good day. This hotel is beautiful, a bit tired but lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Achilles heel is the noise in the rooms. I stayed in room 107 and had to use the ear plugs provided to try and reduce the noise from the main road.

I could not sleep for quite a while and kept waking up. I am now en route to my meeting, I am tired as a result of choosing a hotel that is not fit for purpose.

I would recommend using a hotel that has thicker windows or somewhere away from the Central Station.

As the title states, this hotel is right next to the station, so it's really convenient getting around by any form of transport. It's also walkable to most of the major sights in Copenhagen which we did for most days. The hotel has a vintage feel to it, especially the lift. However some might find it too dated for their liking. The room was spotless and provided us with our needs, but please note that the wifi was spotty in the upper floors. As we are travelling ad hoc in Europe, we need the wifi to make bookings for our next destination. We informed the front desk about the issue and was shifted to the lower floors which have new routers, so thank you for it!

Be sure to check out the Library bar in the hotel. Really nice ambience!

Not a 4 star hotel in the least.
An old classic hotel that must have been very beatiful in its prime but
Elevator malfunctions frequently (too old to handle going up and down so many times) only danish tv channels available in the rooms, no lounge seating area, no hot drinks (coffee/tea, etc)or food service after breakfast, restaurant is closed, dirty walls full of cracks and smudges, leaking faucet, very old furniture, very dirty carpets in the rooms.
Room cleaning service does not vaccum or clean the shower; single size bed sheet for a double-bed, rooms are not sound proof and next to a very busy road (probably why they provide earbuds).
The breakfast buffet is lovely but if you arrive after 9:30am they’ll start clearing the food and plates away…

We stayed in this hotel for two nights, but unfortunately we did not have a positive experience. As soon as we arrived in the afternoon, we entered the room, we noticed some dirty stains on the bathroom tiles, next to the sink and some rubbish under the sofa bed. Furthermore, the beds only had duvets and it was 22°C in the room. So, we asked to have some plain sheets and to clean up the room. In the evening, upon returning we found the same stains in the bathroom and folded sheets placed on the bed. We had to make our own beds. The following night, the same situation: the sheets had disappeared again on the beds and only the duvet was back. We went back to reception to ask again to remove the dirt from the bathroom and the sheets. Furthermore, you notice several stains on the carpet. Big mix-up: the lights in the room all go off together, including those in the bathroom, because both the one at the entrance and the one next to the bed are master switches for the entire room. So even in the evening, when everything turns off, with the exception of a few sockets next to the telephone, all the sockets are deactivated and no longer work. In general, although we were often told that the manager would be made aware of the facts, the entire stay was not supported in the best way.
The direct rental of the bicycles with which we visited the city was much appreciated, also thanks to the excellent location not far from the center. The proximity to the station was very convenient for arrival and departure, because it can be easily reached from the airport in about twenty minutes. However, the room temperature was too high and I had to keep the windows open and hear all the hissing of the trains and the noise of the passage on the switches.
The price was lower than hotels of the same category, but the experience was really too "tiring" for being in a 4-star hotel, from which one certainly expects more.

Stayed for 3 nights recently on a business trip and overall it was fine and I had a pleasant enough experience but I don't think I would elect to stay there again.
In terms of positives the hotel is very proximate to CPH Central Station, my room was fine - everything worked although the ear plugs beside the bed were a bit of a concern, breakfast was fine and typical offering and service started at 6:30am which was welcome. I did not visit the restaurant but anytime I passed by there was nobody eating there and also did not frequent the Library Bar.
This appears to be an old property and unsurprisingly is a bit jaded and dated. The elevator is so old it is remarkable that it is still working and it was definitely a heart in mouth experience to use it. I did sleep well on my first two nights but understood on the final night why the ear plugs are provided as there was incessant construction and train station noise to contend with. As mentioned the room was fine but the discarded tissue in my wardrobe was a bit of a concern and on one occasion I left my room to find someone was charging their phone from the socket just outside my door. I paid €277 per night for B&B and I do feel the hotel is quite over priced at this rate.

We stayed for few nights at the hotel, The receptionist was very nice and helpful. First impression you get is that the hotel is very charming, it has a very old look which is special. But when we entered the room, unfortunately it looked like it hasn't been renovated in a very long time. We had some white stains on our bed cover and the room smelled very old and had an unpleasant sewage like smell. The WiFi signal was very bad and the shower had a very weak water stream.

On the positive note, the breakfast was very good, the location is fantastic and the bar was very unique and had a great atmosphere to it.

Stayed here folr 2 nights with my wife. Location was excellent and the hotel building was great but we were a bit let down by customer services experienced.
1. At breakfast, there was not attendants except for one person behind the kitchen counter.
Food was not being topped up in a timely fashion on both mornings.
I asked for fried eggs or omelete, was told that only scrambled eggs or boiled eggs were available.
2. Room service left a used mug on the table; could have easily replaced it. I took a picture of it and showed it to the recptionist who did not offer any apology instead asked if i needed a clean mug.
3. 2 power sockets on a wall stopped working. Another socket was loose on another wall where the TV was connected. I told the same receptionist about it and she said she will send someone to check. No one came.
Overall, we felt a bit let down by these experiences.
