Welcoming, very comfortable, quiet. Very close to rail station & Tivoli Gardens. Helpful & friendly staff. Lovely bathroom, brilliant shower. Room spacious & comfortable (3 adults). What's not to like?!
The best hotel we stayed at while traveling around Denmark! Large rooms, wonderful shower and a nice view of Tivoli Gardens. Diana was so warm and welcoming when we first arrived and everyone made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Definitely staying here anytime I'm in Copenhagen from now on.
This was our second stay at Copenhagen Plaza and it did not disappoint us. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful and our room on the second floor was very good. Breakfast ticked all our boxes and we adore the piano bar. The old elevator doesn’t always work but it’s oldfashioned beauty makes up for it. We recommend the three lowest floors and the rooms towards the inside
+ The room was big and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was great - spacious and with good lighting, so you can actually see what you are doing. We even had two luggage racks, which was wonderful, after all we were two people with suitcases. The food was delicious and there were great things to choose from. - We had problems with our room keycards several times (we couldn't open the room door), but the staff was very helpful and friendly each time. The elevator button for the ground floor was broken for several days, so we had to be creative to get our luggage down when we checked out.
Very convenient hotel, right outside Central Railway Station. Friendly staff and comfortable room. First time in Copenhagen so a good place to stay but pricey at £250 per night B&B including breakfast.
The location is very good, close to the main station. Very good breakfast. Lots of choice. Very nice staff who can help. Close to the market square, from which a few steps to shopping streets. My stay at the hotel was very successful
Great location next to the central train station and Tivoli. Beautiful historic building. Comfortable room and bed. The room was a little worn and in need of updating/improvements. Excellent, friendly staff.
I am sorry I to have to give such a critical review but the standard and service in the hotel cannot qualify for four stars. Everything is run down, the rooms appear unclean with stained furniture, lamps that do not work and rubbish on balconies and under the sofas. Cleaning was sloppy and it took three calls to the reception during the day to contact house keeping. After four days out of an expected visit of five days, we left the hotel. Sebastian Löffler, the general manager, has not yet bothered to respond to our complaints. Therefore, we are now forwarding our complaint to the Board of Appeal for Hotels and Restaurants.
Copenhagen Plaza is located meters from the train station- 3 stops- 13 minutes from the airport. It is across from Tivoli and surrounded by restaurants- try the Tivoli Garden Food Court which is directly across from the hotel. Great location and walking distance or easy access to public transportation to most attractions. You can get an unlimited 24-72 hour transport card from USD 12. The main door is locked after a certain hour and you must ring the bell for entrance. The tasteful smallish lobby is adorned with wood with names of famous visitors who have visited the hotel on a wall. Check in was fast and friendly. When I arrived at my room, the card key wouldn't work, so back down I went. The card was re-validated and up I went but down I went again. On my way down, I got stuck in the elevator- after 5-10 minutes of pressing buttons- it finally started again. The receptionist accompanied me to my room but was unsuccessful in opening up the room. The receptionist went down and brought up another key card that actually opened the door. If this wasn't enough for one day. when I got back to the room after dinner, the safe deposit wouldn't open. I called the reception and they promptly arrived and fixed the battery of the safe. Defiantly, a very poor first impression and a disastrous start. The room was ok but a bit dated with a refrigerator and safe. The view was the street and the tracks which can get noisy. The windows weren't well insulated from the noise. There weren't any outlets near the bed nor a master switch. The free internet wasn't always reliable and the bed was just average. The bathroom was pretty basic for a 4* hotel with a shower and not great quality bathroom towels. The breakfast buffet was on the 1st floor which consisted of bread, cold cuts, salad, eggs ( not made to order), cereal, fresh fruit etc. Decent quality but the juice wasn't fresh. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, Profilhotels Copenhagen Plaza is in a great location but also the location can be a negative as the rooms can get a bit noisy from the train and street noise. The rooms do need a bit of a renovation. Loved the location but not so in love with the rooms. The choice is up to you whether you prioritize the location or the sleep quality.…
Check if you need curtains. Lift is great, a working antique. Location is 3 mins from Central Station. Rooms are spacious. What more can I say to reach 200 characters. Bed linen is of exceptional quality,
