Certificate of Excellence
Next door to royal residence Amalienborg Palace and just a short walk from Nyhavn, this imposing 200-year-old former granary warehouse is one of the largest hotels in the city, with 366 rooms - but don't let that put you off. It may not be boutique but big can definitely be beautiful. Beyond the two cast iron canons at the entrance is a neon-pink bar (great for a pre-dinner tipple), while guests retire to rooms showing off classic Danish touches such as teak furniture, low ceilings and original wooden beams. Best of all are the panoramas across the water towards the city's shiny Opera House and Christiania: a view fit for royalty.

Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here for 4 nights from 29th December '19 to 2nd january 2020. This was my first solo trip and I had booked a single room and When I checked in they upgraded me to a huge lovely double room free of charge! Such nice staff that work there very warm and friendly and the room was spacious & clean. There is coffee and tea facilities and a powerful shower. I ate out at restaurants away from the hotel but on The last night I was there I ordered room service, a really nice juicy thick burger and truffle and parmesan fries! Sooo good. The admiral is a huge hotel but very well maintained. Location is good as it's by the water and within 5 minutes of nyhavn. It's about a 25 minute walk to tivoli which you would never notice as theres a lot to look at on the way there. I would definitely stay here again, I've travelled to many countries and this by far was one of the best hotels and experiences overall. I found the danes to be extremely hospitable, warm and friendly people. They cant do enough for you.

It might not look much from the outside, but the newly renovated room had everything I wanted and needed. Quiet located, fresh interior, comfortable bed. 10 walking minutes from Kongens Nytorv. I will come again.

Gorgeous hotel, yet the service was lacking. We ordered breakfast for the next day. We specified our preferences. It didn’t come. So we rang the reception, and they apologised, asked for our food preferences once more, and 5 minutes later we received the food. There was ham, although we asked for no ham, and there was coffee instead of tea. We had just talked to them, so it seemed odd for them to forget so quickly. The breakfast was okay, but the process, unfortunately, tainted our perception of our stay.
