Fantastic hotel in a great location, within walking distance of major attractions and landmarks. Very welcoming and out room was lovely - we had a waterfront room. Bed very comfortable and room had everything we needed. We were also able to watch a Netflix programme using our On the Go Sky which was transferred onto the tv in the room! All the tech was great. Had a fab meal in Salt the on-site restaurant. Great 2 days and would recommend.
We have just returned home after 4 nights at the Admiral. Beautifully restored warehouse/granary that gives a real sense of the history of the place. Superb location! Lovely breakfasts and the rooms the are very clean and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special shout out for Gurkan who went above and beyond in giving us lots of helpful information about where to go and how to get there. Also told us where to go to get free Covid tests!
It’s one big Hotel very charming in one old building, but inside modern. Very clean and our Luxery room comfortable with view to the harbor. We stayed five nights. We asked for late check out and they have been so kind to allow us one hour. The Hotel is fully booked was the answer. But in case we pay we could stay longer! We never had this experience in 5* Hotels! Now we have to kill 6 hours!!!! No yeah yeah
The Admiral is one of the best Copenhagen hotels located just one block from Nyhavn canal. It has beautiful decor in a old grain warehouse. The staff is friendly and always available to help. The rooms are comfortable. We did not stay with a water view as they are considerably more but had double deluxe overlooking a street of older buildings. It is in a quiet area. A definite upgrade than some of the other hotels I saw when driving around Copenhagen. I contacted guest services many times via email prior to my trip and they were very helpful.
Excellent experience. Room was spacious, spotless, quiet and well equipped; the bed was extremely comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast - and the outdoor Salt café. I found the staff friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel makes great use of a historic waterside building; the beams lend character.
Room was excellent and the view amazing. However, the breakfast restaurant was obvious not ready for customers! The food was very nice, but the service - oh Lord - was terrible; there was never enough food, which meant that we was constantly waiting for the kitchen to fill up with bread, cheese etc. The waiters was so slow that a turtle would work faster! The dirty dishes was piling up on the tables and we had to ask for everything (cups, fork and knives, to have the table cleaned after the last customers etc etc. All in all, this meant that the last experience we had at the hotel was not very fine.
Nice location by the sea, close to Nyhavn and Langelinie, and just a short walk from the city centre. Nice interior, not your typical layout, as the building started as warehouses in the 18th century, of which traces are still visible. Comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms and beds. The staff is generally very helpful and professional. Not the cheapest hotel, but ok value for money. I have stayed here many times, both privately and for work, and will most certainly return.
Loved this hotel--it was my favorite of all those we visited on this trip. Its location close to Nyhaven and overlooking the water with the opera house in the background was perfect. The rooms have a minimalist Scandinavian esthetic which suited me perfectly.
Stayed at the Admiral hotel for 3 nights. Me and my colleague rented a suite which cost about €1500 (which is very overpriced for the standard you got). We had books with 2 beds, one bed (the sofa bed) was not made when we arrived. The glass that was inside the hotel was not replaced and remained there since the previous guest (which is disgusting, luckily I saw it before). For €1500 shared over 3 nights you would think breakfast should be included in that price, but it wasn't.
Modern hotel in a historical building with that Nordic design look. Everything is very functional but elegant. The room size was not impressive (we did a last-minute upgrade for harbor view room) but great bed and comfort all around. All the equipment seemed new (or almost) and clean. The location is perfect. Just in front of the harbour (nice views), nearby the canal restaurants and 2k from the kastellet. It has a nice restaurant (Salt) with harbour view. The hotel is big, even if it doesn’t look like that, so breakfast can be crowded.
