Rooms are big enough, although the carpets and curtains seem like they are from 1970s (although dont seem too clean); rather loud street; 50m from the railway station so if you are in Copenhagen for a day an ideal choice

The hotel is close to the train station and all public transport. Rooms are clean, but very small with shared toilet and shower. There is a sink in the room, but there are no toiletries and no kettle. You can buy coffee in the lobby from a coffee vending machine.

Staggeringly good value for Copenhagen - just try buying anything else in Copenhagen, and you'll see what I mean. The location is wonderfully useful - just through the beautiful wooden hall of the station is Tivoli - and all profits from the hotel go to the homeless shelter in Vesterbro. However, it's not just the idealistic choice of hotel it's... More

Rooms were great had triple for my family. Very clean fresh towels shower etc plus really great locatio and v quiet . A pleasant surprise. However the curtain rail fell down when we went to draw thecyrtains resulting in some unpleasantness from the guy manning the front desk who came to the room and was very rude. He later found... We booked an apartment because we couldn't find any other place to stay for one night. The neighbourhood is safe (probably) but we did notice a hooker or two. People were nice and beds quite comfortable but there was a some kind of stink. Furniture was old and the rooms weren't very clean (especially bathroom and kitchen). The breakfast was... More

This hotel is close to the station, the rooms are clean if somewhat small and there was a shared toilet and shower room. A lot of noise from a nearby bar, trolleys trundling around at 6am and refuse collectors at 6.30am! Breakfast was poor.

This can be a good choice for budget travelers, since all other hotels I checked out in Copenhagen were way more expensive. Nothing fancy, no luxury, a little bit uncomfortable beds and small room, but very good location. Was very close to the central station, Tivoli Garden, and city center. Good value for money.

I stayed there as my first stop of my trip to Europe and again before I return home again. I decided to stay there on returning after 2 weeks in Europe because the location was good and it is clean. My first single room was a fair size the second time round was a bit small could hardly fit my... More

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
