The staff on the reception was not so friendly. The breakfast room ist very small. The Location and the junior suite are excellent. The staff in the breakfast area are very good. The relation between the price and the service has a big different

I chose the hotel without knowing anything about it. It is located at the best place, wonderful breakfast, clean room, and a sustainable attitude is felt all over the hotel. The stuff is very nice and welcoming. I recommend it strongly!

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in late September. We chose it primarily for its location which is very good. We had a superior plus room on the 2nd floor. The bedroom was large and nicely laid out. It had a large closet but no drawers for storage. The bathroom was nice but consisted of separate shower and toilet/sink areas. Separating the shower from the sink is poor design IMO. The shower worked great, though. We had some issues regarding noise but they were fairly minor. Tv channels were a disappointment as there were no English language channels. Wi-fi was below average. It takes several minutes to connect and you have to connect several times a day. Once you’re connected it works fine. I got several warning about internet security, though, so you should use a VPN. Our room had a small balcony that was a nice bonus. There’s room to stand and you can see what’s going on in City Hall Square. Breakfast was below average for Scandinavia. Variety is ok but quality isn’t very good. Hot dishes are served in glass jars which often results in soggy food. You have to tell them if you want your room cleaned under the guise of saving the environment. We have been traveling around Scandinavia for four weeks and this was the first time we encountered this policy. Overall, the hotel is nice with a marginal breakfast. I would consider staying here again but I would also shop around

We stayed at the Scandic Palace prior to departing Copenhagen on a cruise. The hotel is conveniently located less than a block from a Metro station in the heart of the city. It's minutes away from Tivoli and many city attractions. The breakfast which was included with our stay was fantastic featuring organic and free-range items. Our room was huge (2 walk-in closets!) and had a small balcony overlooking the square. We'd read previous remarks about the noise, but we did not have any problems and slept soundly every night. The Saturday night fireworks at Tivoli were an added surprise!

The Scandic Palace hotel is a must. The location is wonderful - close to everything. The hotel team was friendly and gracious to accomodate. The breakfast was exceptional. We were very happy to have stayed there and will again!

The PROS: 1. Nothing beats the location of this hotel. It is facing the City Hall Square and Radhuspladsen metro stop, and the entrance to Tivoli Gardens is across the street. The main shopping street (Stroget) is just around the corner. There are lots of souvenir shops and places around. The Hop-On Hop-Off bus tours stops in front of the hotel. 2. The room is clean, looks new, and the bathroom is spacious. 3. Breakfast is good, but can get a little repetitive. THE CONS: 1. Service could be improved. I had to have my room key exchanged four times during my four night stay because I couldn't access my room using it. I asked for help with luggage during checkout, but the guy at reception said he was the only one around and couldn't help me. 2. No bottled water in the room, you have to pay for them. 3. Bathroom toilet broke down twice during my stay there. While the repair was quick both times, it was such a hassle.

Great location and very nice breakfast. Clean rooms and super service. Minus for the broken bathroom door. It was not possible to close it. Minus for the church clock outside the room. Wake us up every hour and half hour.

Located in historic Copenhagen, this hotel is a rare treat. Mixing the old with the new. Our room overlooked the courtyard so not sure if it was located near the rear or the front. The noise of the bell tower and fireworks didn’t bother me but I’m a deep sleeper. The room was spacious, the bathroom was huge. One item for thought is the microscopic closet. Our stay was short (2 nights) so it wasn’t an issue for us. The complimentary breakfast is amazing. A vast assortment of hot and cold foods with a couple local favorites included. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Very good hotel, perfect location, nice, clean rooms. The buffet breakfast is really good with great variety. The staff are really helpful and nice. City hall is just across the street, plenty of shops and restaurants around, including a 7/11 if you have the munchies at night. There is good Scottish pub across the square from the hotel. In short you can’t go wrong choosing to stay at this hotel
