Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Very nice lobby area - I spent the time outside and although I did not stay at this hotel, the architecture is worth considering as a landmark on the square, complete with the beautiful clock tower. It is one of the best locations in the city, in my opinion, as it's right on the

I stayed here because I was attending a conference. I upgraded to a suite, which provided considerably more space. I have stayed at several Scandic hotels in Denmark and find them less than perfect. I would rate this hotel at a 7 because on several levels they miss the mark.

The hotel was located right down the street from the central train station, making it extremely convenient for us to go to Malmo for the day. Our room was very spacious, and when we experienced some water/plumbing issues in our room on the last night of our stay the staff was

We stayed 3nights during unusually hot month. The building is historic which is a code for no-airconditioning in Europe and the junior suite room we booked was in the back with small windows and had some smell of mold. On the other hand, my parents delux double had large windows

Take the train at the airport and get off at central station , it is a 10min walk to the hotel. Tis is the cheapest way and very easy. Most of the trains stops at central station. For food/roomservice , check website or send an e-mail to the hotel. I am not sure if it's possible or not. Enjoy your stay , Kopenhagen is wonderful.

No need to bring shampoo or conditioner. I think there was also lotion and cotton stuff to remove makeup and stuff like that.

It's a large hotel, so I couldn't say. But our room had a sort of French balcony, so there was no glass over part of the "window" onto the courtyard. Perhaps there are rooms that just have double-glazed, solid windows. (The bell doesn't chime all night. "Just" until midnight, which is still terrible.)
