Since more than two years this has been my standard hotel in Copenhagen, with maybe 40 nights per year in the city. Before that, I tried many different Copenhagen hotels, such as Hilton, different Radisson hotels, different Scandic hotels and at least a handful of others. Scandic Palace is by far the best of them all. The rooms are nice...

We booked the hotel based on reviews and location and we were not disappointed. Flew in from the UK on Ryanair who had the worst cabin crew I have ever seen on duty. Totally bored with what they were doing and wandering up the aisle mumbling when supposed to be offering customer service. Anyway enough of them. Landing and luggage...

You couldn't ask for a better location , across from Tivoli and a block from Stroget. A short walk really. The hotel is ran on minimal staff which is fine if you are an independent and able travelled. I couldn't see a bell desk or anyone to help with your luggages . Usually there is only one staff at reception....

The location of the Scandic Palace is wonderful - right in the city center. The room is beautiful, much larger than most European hotel rooms. The breakfast was very good with many choices from bacon and eggs to yogurt or sweet rolls. There is a nice bar off the lobby that is a nice spot to stop later in the...

The hotel was average - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. However, it seems that the property is a bit worn/tired...and needs updating. Another positive: well located.

This hotel is right in the middle of all the action in Copenhagen. It is a grand older building with all of the modern amenities in each room. I have to say my shower and bath were amazing! The rain shower head complimented by quality toiletries made my stay. The breakfast buffet is quite good with the very crispy bacon...

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is in the middle of everything. Easy access but again Copenhagen is small city. So it is easy to walk everywhere. Nice interior that mix between modern and the original. People here are genuinely nice! They are want to ensure that your stay here is memorable. The only thing about the hotel...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Scandic Palace Hotel for 4 nights in November 2016. We arrived on the first day of our trip and were told that we had been upgraded to a junior suite for the duration of our stay. We were very impressed with the large room, especially the bathroom; there was a large waterfall shower...

Question whether the location of this hotel is good or not depends where you are going to. It's not my favorite in Copenhagen, but again, it's near Tivoli and the other end of Strøget if you look for those. Building is old, but nothing spectacular outside and even less inside. City hall tower bell is tolling every 15 minutes, from...

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
