I chose this place due to price and location. It is only a few minutes walk from the central train station. Overall the whole city is pretty walkable. Checkin took a while, as a "boutique" hotel, it seems there is only one person handling the lobby tasks (checkin, checkout, lobby lounge area, etc). They are very friendly but extensively explain everything so it takes a while. Every time I walked past the lobby, I saw at least one person waiting in line. Overall the wait was only maybe 10min so not too bad. I booked the cheapest smallest room and it was very tiny eventhough they upgraded me to a slightly larger room. The main issue is the strange shape of the room and arrangement of furniture. For example, you cannot walk around the bed because there is a chair in the way. You have to climb on the bed. Speaking of bed, I found it to be too soft (not firm enough). Maybe some people like that. Overall the room was clean and I was only staying one night. Breakfast was included and a nice buffet with lots of great options.

Like most before us we found the Anderton to be a wonderful base in Copenhagen. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and well equipped. Location was excellent and restaurants were plentiful within a minute or two walk. No hesitation to reccomend and if we return it will be our go to hotel

Arriving in Copenhagen in bright sunshine even though the temperature was hovering around freezing, we decided to take the train into the city centre knowing as well that our hotel, Andersen Boutique Hotel was only a stone's throw from the central station. The journey was enjoyable although short and what a fantastic surprise the hotel turned out to be. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay and were always prepared to go that extra step too make sure we were looked after. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for first time visitors to this very interesting city
