My wife and I stayed here for one night after a cruise. While staff here is very friendly, and the proximity to the central train station and attractions is an attractive feature, I find it very difficult to recommend this hotel. The main reason for my reluctance to recommend the Grand Hotel, is that despite the fairly decent pictures some...

Just by the Central Train station. It has a nice restaurant located within. We were in a triple. Our bathroom was a little weird, long and skinny.... and the tap on the shower was dangerous. It was actually made for a sink and when you turned in the shower you could bump it. With the water just crazy hot, you...

Nice rooms, everything was changed from day to day and Grand Hotel is a minute away from Central Copenhagen Train Station, "Stroeget"(a pedestrian street). I visited the royal quarters at Christiansborg where the Danish Parliament is situated. The royal rooms are opened every day(except when the royal family uses the rooms)

The location is great. We brought our dog and he was welcomed with his own bowls for food and water on the room. The dog could join us everywhere, restaurants, pubs. He was the first to be served. Close to Tivoli and shopping areas. Close to the railwaystation and the hotel offeres parking close by.

Even though this hotel is only 3stars, the location is 5 star. It is so central to everything. We caught the train from the airport and it was only a short walk from the tra in station to the hotel. Rooms very roomy, clean, and bathroom is big so you don't feel cramped at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked the hotel on booking . After checked several reviews I got fulled since the hotel is expensive and is nothing but really nothing special. In the continent this will be a classic 2 star with cost of 80€ night. Here I m paying 2200 dkk without breakfast. The room are old and bad ,the toilet are dirt and smalls...

Good location close to the railway station and Tivoli. Clean rooms, but old fashioned. No mini bar or safe. Quiet atmosphere. Nice breakfast, but room a bit crowded. The hotel has a non smoking policy, but the rooms and corridors smelt terrible of old tobacco smoke. We stayed with younger children and they were very upset about this. Why dont't...

Excellent central location and really friendly staff. The whole hotel is past its best but it is very clean and in the middle of everything. Quiet with comfie beds but few hotel facilities. No lounge, nowhere to get a coffee, no bar. But I would stay again for the cleanliness and the location. I didn't have breakfast, plenty of cafes...

The location is prime as it is close to the main shopping street and Tivoli Gardens. The hotel itself is a bit dated but the staff is very accommodating. The stay was good, but yes, rooms are on the smaller side and it's a bit dated.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
