Excellent location just round the corner from the main train station & Tivoli gardens. The staff were all really nice & friendly, the breakfast was really, really good & my only complaint was that the rooms were a bit on the small side. The bathroom...More
Three hundred and sixteen dollars for two nights in a tiny room may seem expensive but most other hotels in Copenhagen are more and a rate that includes breakfast is a find, especially when the breakfast is as good as the Grand. Even if you run...More
Was travelling to Copenhagen for one night for business and I wanted to book a close by hotel. I thought the name reflects the standard however this was not the case as the hotel is quite old and not very well maintained. The room was...More
The hotel is quite old and ancient, and the commodities are lacking in quality. The room was ok, except for the terrible bathroom, and the breakfast was too. The staff was nice and helpfull. For a 3 stars you can´t ask for much else.
Nice hotel, very old, but in decent shape. Fabulous location, right near the train station and Tivolia Gardens, near the walking street. Room was small, but comfortable. Only issue, as many hotels in Copenhagen, no AC, so if it is a bit warm, you have...More
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
