I have nothing to complain about, however it doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel compared to 5 star hotels we are used to in the US. Our flight got bumped from a strike so we decided to stay a couple nights in Copenhagen. Basically the cab driver told us it was one of the nicest hotels and tired from... More

After a very long flight we were welcomed to our radisson experience, our room was good size for European standards, very Danish modern. Nice bathroom, tho bit skimpy on soap! We had a great view over looking Trivoli Gardens. Even tho the train station was within view it was very quiet! Our room included a full breakfast each morning, served... More

This is a modern yet old hotel in a great central Copenhagen location, ideal for the main station. Big and bold, but the check-in desks are strangely arranged- they are unidentifiable without a queue of waiting people. Seems to be popular with rich foreign travellers and groups. Bed comfortable, room quiet, A/C works, iron in the room, free wireless, ticks... More

I stayed here for two days recently. The room was very clean. The location of the hotel was excellent. Its about a block away from Tivoli park. It's right in the center of the city. I wasn't really bothered by the train station being accross the street. I was on the 14th floor. I was able to hear the people... More

Just have to write about the Cafe Royal. It is overrated ! Sevice is at best mediocre, and food is dull, despite the prices being very fine. We were a group of people, who had dinner after a meeting. The portions are very small, several of us were still hungry afterwards. There was the same potatoes and grilled leeks on... More

This is an excellent hotel, location is great. It is costly but worth the cost. We had a terrific time, you can just walk to the museums, Tivoli and other attractions. Food is excellent and you have various options. Parking ia available onsite though there is a charge.

I ended up staying here as part of a cruise package. It was funny since I had actually picked this place out on my own based on the reviews on this site and the location. I took a cab into the city, the driver gave a great little tour on the way in, and I quickly ended up in the... More

We stayed there one night before boarding a Baltic cruise. The room is very chic, with all of the mid century Danish modern furniture still in the lobby - but in excellent condition. The doormen and concierge were very friendly and helpful. The Alberto K restaurant was excellent - great view of the city, food was marvelous and incredibly inventive,... More

Arrived Copenhagen by KLM flight from Amsterdam on 2nd August, 2012 late afternoon, and stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel room was booked by a local contact at a rather expensive price of US$1,150 including breakfast. The room [ marketed as a Family Room ] was on the 3rd floor and was sizeable, with 2 separate bathrooms, area... More

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
