The stylish apartments, ranging between 65m2 studio apartments and 145m2 three-bedroom apartments, are fully furnished by Danish design brand HAY. Housed in a converted industry building from the mid-1900s, STAY Copenhagen is a great example of how old and new can come together to create an atmosphere of wonderful Scandinavian minimalism. The spacious apartments offer fully equipped kitchens, including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and a large flat-screen TV. STAY offers underground parking facilities with direct access to the apartments, free WiFi everywhere, a huge in-house gym exclusive to guests, and on top of it all, - one of the largest rooftop terraces in Scandinavia. Other dining options in the building include a sushi restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and gourmet takeaway on the ground floor. For guests wishing to prepare their own meals - an eco-friendly supermarket is conveniently located in the building. In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.

We stayed here for three nights. We have 2 young children. The rooms were a great size. The apartment is very spacious overall with a lovely big bathroom. The kitchen was well fitted which made self catering easy. There's a supermarket downstairs but we shopped in the Lidl 10 mins away as it was cheaper. The hotel breakfast was lovely, very fresh. Unfortunately we were there whilst construction work was happening at the front AND the back of the building. It meant the early mornings were quite noisy. It go us up and going though so we didn't waste our time. The evenings were lovely and quiet. The apartment was very warm but once you opened up the patio style doors in all rooms, it created a lovely through breeze. It was just too hot at night and I wasn't comfortable

The overall vibe of this hotel is modern and minimal, which is why I booked it. A great concept, but the customer service is lacking, the cleaning service is minimal to say the least, and the room has no light or air conditioning. There was construction going on across the street, and since there was no A/C we had to keep the windows open at all times and endure the annoying loud construction since 8 am in the morning. It was not fun. I promise you can find a better place than this one.

We have mixed feelings about STAY Copenhagen as the apartments are ok. Loft-style, a bit like living in an IKEA showroom but spacey, a well-equipped kitchen and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent - everything was organic and very fresh. There's an excellent grocery store nearby and a ferry that runs from Islands Brygge into town and beyond (highly recommend!). If you like walking just follow the waterway into the city and back - it's a really great walk! The downside is that the rooms were very warm and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. Next to the hotel there's a lot of construction going on so the noise is terrible and it starts at 6.30 in the morning! Overall we liked STAY Seaport much better.

We have just returned from a short break in Copenhagen. We chose stay for its proximity to the city. I have mixed feelings as the apartments are ok . A bit too stark like living in an IKEA showroom but at least the kitchen is well equipped. The room are clean, they have a gym, and breakfast is great. The downside is that the rooms were very warm and we couldn’t adjust the temperature and it got very hot at night to the point we couldn’t sleep. The place is still a construction site so plenty of health and safety issues whilst walking around plus the noise is terrible especially when it starts at 6.30 in the morning. They have a nice supermarket nearby, some restaurants and you can travel to and from the city centre via bus number 250S. The team are very friendly and

First time in Copenhagen and found this self catered apartment with local supermarket Irma on ground floor. The apartment is spacious without fancy decor. It could be Danish. Walking and taking bus is the only option to reach Tivoli Gardens, Museums or City for shopping. Yes, it is not the best location. However, it is the best if you want to experience more like locals. Instead of walking to the nearby Bus stop, We prefer the long walk passing local apartments, through bridge to Fisketorvet Shopping Mall, passing the train station and then taking the Bus. It was a pleasant walk. At the end, this self catered Danish simplicity with Irma on ground floor plus the walk gives our family a memorable Copenhagen experience.
