STAY Copenhagen offers modern design apartments located on Islands Brygge - Copenhagen's up and coming harbor area just 2 km from Tivoli garden and Town hall square. The stylish apartments, ranging between 65m2 studio apartments and 145m2 three-bedroom apartments, are fully furnished by Danish design brand HAY. Housed in a converted industry building from the mid-1900s, STAY Copenhagen is a great example of how old and new can come together to create an atmosphere of wonderful Scandinavian minimalism. The spacious apartments offer fully equipped kitchens, including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and a large flat-screen TV. STAY offers underground parking facilities with direct access to the apartments, free WiFi everywhere, a huge in-house gym exclusive to guests, and on top of it all, - one of the largest rooftop terraces in Scandinavia. The cafe next to reception serves a delicious organic breakfast in the morning, and is a popular meeting place for a beer or a glass of wine in the afternoon. Other dining options in the building include a sushi restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and gourmet takeaway on the ground floor. For guests wishing to prepare their own meals - an eco-friendly supermarket is conveniently located in the building. Guests in the mood to explore the surroundings areas can rent a bicycle in the reception or take a relaxing walk in the Amager Falled Park just next door. A few hundred meters from reception is a harbor bus stop, from where the boat travels to Nyhavn and beyond. STAY Copenhagen is within 15 minutes' walk of Dybboelsbro rail station and there is a bus stop just around the corner.

Neighborhood
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.

This by far is the largest and best studio apartment I've ever stayed in. Apart from the size of our room it had a balcony with a water view, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer and ample storage space. In respect to location there are restaurants, grocery stores and a major shopping plaza within walking distance. We utilised the hop on hop off bus which had a stop about a 10 minute walk away near the shopping plaza across the foot bridge. Each of the reception staff we communicated with were all polite and helpful.

We stayed with some friends for some days. Initially we were excited by the design, our apartment was very spacious and we were lucky to get a view towards the water (a window was covering the whole wall!!). The curtains kept the room dark too! There is a small balcony. The room is quite equipped with different machines and cutlery and we were happy on that aspect. However, there are different things that could have been better: - the kitchen utensils were dusty - light switches are confusing - slow internet connection - uncomfortable chairs - bathroom door was not closing properly, there are no spots to leave/place personal stuff, nowhere to place the toiletries inside the shower - few power sockets around the room The location is ok, it was consciously made and we accept the

We first stayed into 1 bedroom apartment at Stay Copenhagen after arriving from Stay Seaport where we spend 10 nights. Stay Seaport rented some of the apartments for 2 nights to people who organise parties of 20 to 30 and make a lot of noise even after normal hours . We had to call the reception several times to ask to enforce the quiet hours as the residents are not allowed to make noise after 10 pm . It was a nightmare. After this poor experience we moved to Stay Copenhagen where we specifically requested for an extra quiet room, information that was communicated to them by Stay Seaport. The apartment we checked in was on Block 1 third floor. We enjoyed peace during the long weekend until when we discovered that all the construction material deliveries for the site next

Please avoid this property if you can. Why? - The entire concept is focused on minimalist/frugalist design rather than functionality and convenience: - The restroom is far too small. - The shower looks like an aquarium with no privacy whatsoever, since it directly faces the sleeping zone and parts of the windows that can't be covered by the curtain and since the drain isn't fast enough, it will also fill up like an aquarium. - The sinks are far too small. - There is a construction site outside, most of the roads haven't been finished yet. Good luck with your wheeled luggage. - WiFi too slow, unreliable and weak for people who seriously need it for business. - Light switches are not only confusing, at least in our room a lot of switches have been wrongly wired. - If you are among
