Behind the iconic pillar entrance of Tivoli Gardens, a magic universe of high culture and amusements is hidden. You know, a universe that can make everybody, both children and adults, fascinated and enthusiastic. And a universe that delights us, activates our senses, gives us a well-deserved break from the daily routines, and engages us in new ways. Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center is inspired by that spectacular and detailed universe since our primary task is to combine business and indulgence with romance and entertainment. We offer everything you could dream of for a complete hotel stay - for both family trips, city breaks and couples getaways. Go for a swim in our large indoor swimming pool, get a sweat on in our fitness center or enjoy a delicious drink in one of our three in-house bars. We also have a playroom for our youngest guests to run off to, while mom and dad are enjoying their dinner at our restaurant, Tivoli Brasserie. If you spend the night in an Executive Room or a higher upgrade, you have free access to our Executive Lounge and Executive Breakfast restaurant. And if you stay in one of the suite categories, you can even relax and enjoy indulgent moments in our Penthouse Pool & Relax on the 12th floor. At Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center, we work hard everyday to give our guests the best service experience possible - and it seems that the work is valued since we won the title as the best hotel in Copenhagen in 2019. Welcome!

Have stayed here a couple of times now and it is an alright hotel. Can be very busy and the staff showed me to the wrong elevators etc. But overall a good hotel and then of course enjoy a good steak at Mash on one of the top floors.

Hotel's Favorite
We loved our stay at Tivoli Hotel. The décor was beautiful, the hotel spacious and the rooms well equipped with very comfortable beds. We had a triple room which was a double with a pulled out chair bed, this made the room feel a little cramped and we could not access the window as the third bed was in the way. But this was a 3 night break so it was ok for what we needed. The food was amazing, the breakfast served in the Tivoli Brasserie was exceptional quality and plentiful, on the second day we struggled for a spare table but this largely due to people not following the request of the hotel and failing to book a slot at breakfast. We ate in the Tivoli Brasserie on one evening, the food was delicious although the menu was limited for the more fussy eaters in my party. The take-away service from the Tivoli Brasserie was very good - lots of food and a good menu choice. The lobby bar was also good, we enjoyed a beer or two in there on each evening and we also purchased some of the snacks which are all of a good quality if limited in choice. A very comfortable bar and lobby area. We also made use of the hop-on, hop off bus that stops right on the front of the hotel, this really was an added bonus as this was a 'Twixtmas' break and the December weather meant that the walk in to the city centre for one or two of our party would have been difficult. Overall, the hotel was beyond our expectation, we would definitely be happy to recommend this hotel to others and would not hesitate to stay there again should we be lucky enough to take another trip to Copenhagen.

Response from Guest Relations, Gæsteservice/reception at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center

Dear Guest, We appreciate you taking the time to review us here on Tripadvisor - Thank you! We are very happy to hear that you had an amazing stay in one of our wonderful family rooms. You mention that you feel you did not have a lot of space, so if you would like to come again in the future, we do recommend our Connecting rooms. You will get two rooms with a door in between, which will give you a lot more space. It is also great to hear that you enjoyed the food in our Tivoli Brasserie restaurant, and I will pass on your great feedback to our F&B Manager :) Nice to hear you used the the hop-on, hop-off tour bus, that stops right outside of the entrance about every 35-45 minutes. Lovely to see that you have had a pleasant stay. We hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future. Yours sincerely, TIVOLI HOTEL&CONGRESS CENTER Morten Frandsen - Reservations Coordinator

Tivoli Hotel is the perfect end to a great day in the city. The views from the Executive lounge wonderful and ending the day with a glass of wine looking out over the city is the best way to wind down after a stressful day of work.

We stayed at the 7th floor, with a nice view over the canal. The room was nice and clean, but housekeeping had been a little sloppy - the bag of shower soap was left in the bathtub and although there was a kettle and tea and coffee, there were no cups. Also, I found the lack of general light in the room very annoying, There were 2 full-lenght mirrors but only one could be used with the natural light from the window, the other was at the entrance to the room, with almost no light at all. I'm not sure if the lights were faulty or if this was on purpose. The breakfast buffet was nice, but as always, I get confused when the layout isn't what I'd call logical. Like, I could not find the juice, but my husband did not find the drink I did.... but that's maybe just me. Staff is friendly though, but for the price, I'd say that the value-for-money is about average.

A good hotel to enjoy Copenhagen. Very good location, nice swimming pool and good gyms. Quiet rooms. We were on the 6th floor. Everything was alright. Everything is safe because you can move freely in the hotel only with the room card. The parking garage is expensive but safe and right in the basement.

Nice hotel for business and personal stay. More attention on the cleanliness of the room is expected. The breakfast is perfect. I had no time to enjoy the swimming pool but it looks beatiful. I would go back at this hotel.

The room was ok-ish. But it had issues. 1. No real door to the bathroom. Large sliding glass door with frosted glass. Could’ve just taken a dump without closing it due to no real closing mechanism hindering sound, and it was see-through basically. 2. The lighting switches was bad. Three options, all off, all on or entrance+bathroom+two spotlights in the “bedroom”? So if you had to go to the bathroom in the night you had to light up the entire room basically. If all was off, only two mini spotlights at each side of the bed that was insanely strong. So no soft light when you wanted to go to bed and get cosy. 3. The AC in the room didn’t work. Room temp was 26 degrees when we entered. Reducing it to 20 or any other temperature didn’t work. Luckily we had two balcony doors we could open to make it bearable. But our room was toward the city with trains outside, so the noise pollution was really bad. 4. The TV was really small and had no smart functions at all. It’s the year 2022 and not being able to use chromecast or airplay to stream what you want to watch is just plane stupid. These functions have existed for 10 years and not having a TV with these basic things is really impressive and cheap. The Hotel Wi-Fi also blocked you from using your own chromecast! 5. We had the executive room so had access to the executive breakfast at 11th floor. But the view from 11th floor was not so great due to small windows, curtains and over all the floor planning was bad. So didn’t experience the view unless you had a seating at the window. So paying extra to get that access was not worth it. Despite all the issues above, it was still an ok experience. Nice room generally and the hotel over all. But I don’t think we’ll stay here again if we go back. Then we will try a different hotel.

Nice Hotel, but 15-20 walking from railway/metro station Cleaning is not necessary every day, but refilling drinks from the minibar, cleaning up empty cans and returning new coffee cups is of course a must. Breakfast is great. Street side room noisy if you open window for fresh air.
