Alexandra at the reception made our stay perfect from check in to check out. The location is great as near Tivoli but in a calm area. The breakfast is good, but all the restaurants in the hotel are even better. The fire alarm went on one day and fire brigade arrived in less then 7 minutes, and the hotel staff...

When looking for somewhere to stay in Copenhagen, we wanted a room big enough for the four of us. I was slightly surprised how difficult this request was to fulfil. Thankfully the Tivoli Hotel has the options of interconnecting rooms, and with its link to the Tivoli gardens, my main reason for wanting to come to Copenhagen the deal was...

The Tivoli Hotel is trendy, modern and reasonably convenient for the central attractions of Copenhagen. I visited on a Saturday night and the hotel was very busy. I had a 15 minute wait to check in- not because of inefficiency, just numbers of people queuing . I wanted to relax in the spa but the pool was packed with families...

This hotel superficially looks great a day or so in you realise it's anything but. First day bedding looked a little grey and grubby but my partner assured me it was fine, day 2 a random blood stain appears on my duvet that same duvet then appears on my partners bed, on day 3 ask for change of bedding blood...

The hotel is a little off center, and the public transportation from here isn't great. The hotel is big, and late breakfast was an exercise in standing in line. That said, the breakfast was very nice with lots of choosings. I travelled with my two adult daughters, and the spare bed was really bad. Thin mattrass, the springs noticable right...

I have left items in my room on two separate occasions at the Tivoli, both times the items where not found and disappeared forever. This is definitely an outlier, in many years of staying in hotels and occasionally leaving things in rooms.

Smart hotel, oriented to conferences, but very convenient for station, city centre and main attractions. Rooms well appointed. 12th floor cocktail bar has great views. Tea drinkers have to beg for milk if they don't want powdered creamer....or buy a glass full from the bar!! But the bar doesn't take cash. Fab city for exploring, bikes available to hire at...

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a large hotel with acres of space, comfortable rooms, recently redecorated bathroom, good all-day-diner restaurant and very useful children's play rooms. It's not the most inspiring neighbourhood but a walkable distance to the city centre, and certainly convenient by bus or bike. The main rail station is a walkable distance too.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
