The hotel is big and has a good, but simple, standard. However the rooms are quite small, especially the bathrooms, where the shower is in the middle of the 1 square meter bathroom getting everything wet. Also there is no air conditioning so being there on a warm day made it difficult to sleep. The beds were very comfortable and... More

very nice smaller double rooms. very neat and clean, nice big beds, good view (high up if you have a room on the higher floors), rooms have tv, there's coffee / tea station, little desk and chair, nice bathroom, tiny but quit alright. breakfast was very nice and with a big buffet.

room was small and in disrepair. walls peeling, no air conditioning. in the am and pm the stench of cigarette smoke permeated through the duct work into my room. not sure what you would call the beds, they are smaller than a single, more like coffin size.

For a two night stay , this has got to be one of the best choices in Copenhagen. Very well connected both with the airport and downtown ( a metro line which reminds me a bit of London's DLR and which runs 24/7 )- the wi fi works and breakfast is not bad. The price is not cheap but it... More

The rooms are very small, and that can be a bit of a bother for someone beyond 180cm. The staff is homely, and helpful. I stayed there for 6 days, and was satisfied with the overall experience. It is strictly for Business trips with short stays.

'Cabin', that is what it is. Do not expect anything more than that. But it's a kind of off the charts experience once in a while. Good things: 1. Very close to convention center if you are attending a conference in Copenhagen. 2. Have a huge supermarket 3 minutes walk and the metro station just 5 minutes by walk. 3.... More

The rooms are like if you were in a train car, very smal, even the beds, and the bathrrom, wich could cause you laughter or shame, you choose. But the most terrifying think are the bunk beds. They hasn't any protection! and they are so high, impossible for the kids. The unique good point is the breakfast buffet and the... More

when you arrive at cabinn metro, you see it and you think, "ahhh - that looks nice". The outside of the hotel does look fairly modern. The inside however.... carpets look like they are straight from a 1980's cruise ship, the same goes for the rooms. the rooms are awful, bunk beds where the top bunk is 6ft off the... More

As most reviews say, it is very handy for the airport and not too far from a metro station. Mixed staff on reception (2 pretty rude people and 1 delightfully pleasant lady) makes it a hit or miss arrival. It is next to a building site and I found the hotel to be very noisy throughout the night so not... More

To start with the positives, the location is good, a short 5 minute walk to the metro and train station. Not fair from the center, or from the airport. A big shopping centre is next door and has a supermarket in. The negatives - do not expect a large room. It is more than snug for 2. Don't have too... More

Staying in Amager

Neighborhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
