This was definitely not what we expected. The rooms very small and need updating, bathrooms are Ok and towels are grey - sitting right off the street/pier. Front office personnel are not there after 6 pm... Breakfast is less than a continental breakfast. Vending machines. Big mistake! The pictures on line look better than in real life.

We were excited to visit this hotel. Rooms over 2 floors. 2nd floor accessible by a spiral staircase or wider staircase at the service end of the boat. Be mindful that it can be hard to cart heavy/wide luggage cases upstairs. Rooms standard hotel size but it can get hot as the floor to ceiling windows let a lot of... More

Room is small but clean. One side of the room, overlooking the river, is all glass with a window and french door. The room got uncomfortably hot late evening and made it difficult to sleep. We tried the window and door open - the amount of insects coming in soon put a stop to that. There was a portable air-conditioner... More

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean, modern and have a fantastic view. Breakfast is rather limited a meat, cheese spreads, rolls, danish, apples, yogurt. You are a 10 -15 minute walk from the center of Copenhagen or Christian Haven. Staff was helpful. The rooms got warm and with the Riverside door open it can get noisy.

Hotel is very nice in good position in the town. When the weather is good you can have the breakfast on the rooftop in the sunshine. The rooms are not very big but the view on the water is amazing. We will come back!

Really cool small hotel floating on the water. Even if you are not sea strong, you can stay here as it's actually not moving a whole lot (I actually found this a little disappointing, but I am a weirdo like that!!) The rooms are a good size, clean, contemporary and with a beautiful view of the harbor. The staff were... More

Very unique hotel and definitely worth a visit! Located just outside the centre so quiet but close enough to walk in and out easily. Rooms are very clean and bright, continental breakfast was good and in theme with the hotel. The hotel offers bicycle rental which is a must! Everyone cycles in this city. Great hotel and great city.

It was very great and casual living at this houseboat hotel. It felt like in a very well choosen movie scenary. Everything very stylish and trendy. Beautifull view, nice and quite, very central and convenient with the bike getting into the city. Service was very helpfull. It was worth any cent spent and will return some day again.

This is a very good hotel, just on the river . Have good view and easy to walk to city center. Just 12-15mins walk can arrive everywhere you are. I love it so much . Thx CPH Living If you come here from airport just use metro and exit in Christians Havns Square. Just only 10mins walk can arrive. Good... More

Definitely a unique place to stay. Do note that the boat is moored to one spot- it doesn't move around at night, if that's what you're hoping for. Great for a night, though a little pricey compared to other options, if you plan on staying long. Not really a complaint, but curtains for the bathroom door and window would be... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
