The Crowne is located very close to the airport which makes it a great spot for a quick stopover or in our case the night before we fly out. It is located right next to mall with a lot of shopping and dining options which was great. The hotel is designed beautifully and is airy and grand. The rooms are very functional and spacious for European standards. Love the massive king size bed. For the price I would definitely stay here again.

Located in a corporate, business park setting, the Crown Plaza feels far removed from the touristy and quaint center city of Copenhagen. This said, the hotel itself is modern and the rooms are spacious by European standards. The Crown Plaza is situated within a very short walk to a Metro stop that can take you to the center city in a brief time. Adjacent to the same Metro stop, is a large indoor shopping mall that includes a cinema, grocery store, a smattering of restaurants and a food court. The hotel is also a short trip away from the Airport and a shuttle bus is available that serves the hotel and one additional nearby hotel.Other than the Mall, there is nothing else noteworthy within walking distance. The room itself was functional and tastefully decorated with modern, minimalist type furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp. The window blinds provided good room darkening effect. There are a half dozen or so English language channels on the TV which was a perk. The bathroom is reasonably large with a walk-in type shower enclosure. Water pressure is acceptable. The room included a small refrigerator but the unit's cooling function was limited and as a result it was not all that effective. I can register a complaint with the clothes iron that the hotel provides. It was small and not a steam iron with a water reservoir. As a result it was completely ineffective to remove wrinkles from clothes. (If I had traveled to the hotel on business and needed to press a dress shirt to look prepped for an important business meeting, I wouldn't have been happy). The primary shortcoming of this hotel that others on TripAdvisor have already profiled is the absence of air conditioning. While I will accept the notion that an older, antiquated building in the central city of Copenhagen could be missing AC, due to retrofitting challenges, it's a head scratcher to me that the Crown Plaza, a modern, 25+ story, corporate type hotel has no AC. It's simply shocking. Whether the absence of AC is a Danish cultural thing, an environmental statement, or a cost saving effort on the part of the owners, is unknown. During my visit, the exterior temperature was around 62 degrees Fahrenheit. While some may say that at that temperature, no AC is needed, recognize that unlike a home or smaller hotel, there are no windows to open for cross ventilation in a multi story hotel like the Crown Plaza. My room was unpleasantly warm throughout my stay and it adversely affected my stay and sleep. FYI, the temperature, air venting controls on the wall within the room do nothing whatsoever and are smoke and mirrors only. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only during the winter months.

Dear jethropbodine Thank you very much for taking the time to post your review of the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. I am glad that you found the hotel modern and the room was spacious enough and the bathroom met your expectations. Your comments about the iron have been given to the relevant manager who thanks you for your feedback. We use all feedback to help us improve our services so we can give an even better service to our guests. The hotel is located on the suburbs of the city of Copenhagen but as you found just a quick walk and the metro will deliver you into the city center in aprox 10 minutes. Fields as you rightly pointed out is one of the largest shopping centers in Denmark and is perfect to pick up any supplies you may need during your stay. I am concerned to learn that you have had an issue with the room temperature during your stay. Each of our rooms uses a climate control system instead of air conditioning and I apologise if this did not reduce the temperature enough to the desired level that you felt comfortable in. We will look further into the issues you raise as a good night’s sleep is crucial when staying with us and I thank you for your feedback. I ask if you can contact me at gepo@cpcopenhagentowers.com so I can find out more details about your stay. Thank you again for your feedback and I look forward to hear from you. Yours Sincerely Jens Frank-Mikkelsen General Manager

I really enjoy staying in this hotel every time im back in MY country Denmark. from the moment i arrive in the airport, this hotel i a part of my travel, going in train or directly with the shuttle bus to the hotel. the reception area quite cold, and industrial. but always with a friendly staff who welcomes me back. as highest level member in this hotel chain, I feel even more welcome. with the complimentary lounge access. the hotel has easy access to Fields shopping mall within 200-300 meters. going to the center of Copenhagen, is possible by train or metro, depending what you want, tivoli or nyhavn. everything is near this hotel always a pleasure to stay in Crown Plaza CPH

Large glass lower level structure. Not a grand lobby and looks a bit Ikea. Upgraded and got lounge access, unfortunately lounge has little seating and sat in non aircon area outside as full. Food choices limited in lounge. Room large, bright and well appointed. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Between airport and city with nothing nearby. Good Wifi. Shuttle to airport Euro 2 which is just annoying, also fully booked for time I wanted. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly
