Beautifully designed hotel with impeccable customer service, you cannot go wrong by choosing to say here. Pros - Gorgeously designed rooms - Beautiful public spaces - Impeccable customer service - Across the street from the Tivoli Gardens Cons - No turndown service Tips - Loft rooms are great but windows are situated far above normal height. So if you are short, don’t pick this room.
We stayed at the Nobis Copenhagen for 6 nights end of May. We really enjoyed many aspects of this hotel. Service at front desk, bar, and restaurants is relaxed yet attentive. Good quality at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner is very good. Drinks were mixed perfectly at the bar. Overall design of the inside of the hotel is nice. Rooms are very comfortable, bed, sheets are good. We had an upgraded room with a tub which was nice. Ability to open the windows and let lots of fresh air was nice. There is also a couple of nice quiet courtyard to sit outside which we didn’t get to do as it was quite windy and wet while there. The location is pretty much perfect as well. It’s very central to absolutely everything you need, Including a grocery store right across the street incase u need anything. Housekeeping was excellent. We didn’t use the gym or the sauna. The only aspects I would say are not perfect are the bikes, which they charge a hefty price for by the day. They are in poor condition and my husbands bike seat broke off half way through our ride. We had to stop at a bike store and get it fixed. We told front desk and they didn’t seem to really care we had to pay to fix their bike- tune ups would be good or don’t charge. We will be back…
Lovely hotels surrounded by museums and steps away from both Tivoli Gardens and Radhusplasden Square. Also within walking distance to the longest pedestrian street in Europe, Strøget. The eat Packing Distract (known for its restaurants) and the main train station is also accessible by foot. A mini mart is just across the street. An ideal location! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room I got was the deluxe, it was nice. I love that they had Byredo products in the bathroom! Bikes are also available.
I stayed here one night on business. Check in was smooth and friendly, the room was large enough, and the location is terrific. Breakfast is great, and the service is friendly and professional. My only complaint is that even though I paid for an upgraded room, it ad very small windows and not a great view. Nevertheless, I'll be back!
Second stay in this stylish hotel after a 3 year gap and it was as lovely as we remembered. The hotel is in a beautiful building in a perfect position to walk to all parts of central Copenhagen. The staff at the hotel are so helpful. Particular shout out to Soo, Front Desk Manager who could not be more helpful and friendly. And efficient. Minor gripe is the delay in the extras ordered at breakfast . Frankly the buffet breakfast is very good so not worth ordering and then waiting 20-30 mins for a couple of poached eggs. Overall I would very highly recommend this hotel.
Amazing hotel. Everyone is very well prepared, services are beyond great. I asked for dinner reservations at a great restaurant and got offered 3 options, went to all of them, and they were all fantastic. The town was packed and they still managed to get these amazing booking for me. The room is also great, and delicious breakfast. What impressed me the most was the day assistant manager, who has a special talent to handle difficult customers. My total admiration goes to professionals that can handle crisis elegantly, and she’s definitely one to be mentioned. Thank you very much!!
The Nobis is a lovely boutique hotel located in a rehabbed, stately former early 20th century music academy. The rooms are clean and bright, containing modern luxury amenities within a high-ceiling space with what appear to be a few touches of the original trim. We found the front desk staff to be remarkably friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Several different staffers offered excellent sightseeing suggestions and tips for how to get there, helped us with restaurant reservations and taxis … and then followed up with us the next day to see how our experiences went. As many have noted, the location is excellent — two blocks from central train station, one block from Tivoli Gardens and about two blocks from City Hall. The bustling location made for some noticeable (but tolerable) outside street noise on occasion, but generally quieted down over night. We definitely would stay here again on a future trip.…
Pros: excellent location for tourism as the hotel is in the center of the city a block from Tivoli and the central train station and within walking distance to shopping, palaces and most attractions. Many excellent restaurants are within walking distance, too. Pedal bikes and electric bike stations are very near the hotel and easy to rent as a tourist. (Highly recommended! Worth figuring out). The hotel is immaculately clean and quiet. Amenities in the room are standard fare for a luxury boutique hotel and includes he essential pod coffee machine. Beds were comfortable Dux mattresses and bath towels were soft cotton as were the robes. The room had soaringly high ceilings with effective blackout curtains for sleeping. Windows open fully too which is always nice. Umbrellas are available for use on rainy days. Cons: for a luxury hotel the Nobis ticks the boxes but not a lot more. Amenities offer no surprises, complimentary bottles of water were not provided until they mysteriously appeared after housekeeping came on our third day there. Breakfast is fine, if unexceptional. Staff are kind and helpful but don’t exactly rush outside to assist with lugging baggage up the flight and a half of stairs into the lobby or to the room. The Deluxe room itself was on the small side and for a couple there may not be enough space to properly unpack. Bonvoy Gold status didn’t seem to enhance the stay in any particular way although our gold status was acknowledged at checkin. On balance, the pros outweigh the cons and the quiet, central location of a luxury boutique hotel that avoids spectacle is a solid choice for high end travel. One suggestion to the hotel: offering guests use of hotel bicycles free of charge would be a nice touch. The current rather steep charge feels to a guest a little like being nickel and dimed after paying top dollar for a stay at the hotel.…
We stayed at this hotel for the second time last December (7-10) and were very happy to be there again. Soon after reserving our room, we reached out to Mathias (who had greatly helped us during our first stay) to request the same room or row, which faces the quiet residential area area. We want to thank Mathias for all of his help during our stay, especially with detailed directions to Gentofte which led us through the beautiful park. Upon arrival at the hotel, Mathias cheerfully greeted us and provided a helpful packet of restaurants, shops, Christmas markets, activities, etc. We put that packet to good use and took it home so we will have it for the next trip to Copenhagen. Mathias is a huge asset to Nobis Hotel and we hope everyone appreciates him the way we do. Our only regret is that we didn't have a chance to thank Mathias once more or say goodbye to him, as he was off the day we checked out. We hope to see you again one day, Nobis Hotel, and Mathias.…
