Pleasantly surprised when booked room for 3 people, we got a first floor apartment. Small living room but glad to see third person got a separate bedroom. Almost unheard of in Europe for smaller, less expensive hotels. This is a no frills, old hotel but extremely clean. We slept with upper windows open at night but courtyard got noisy, briefly... Just today I received news that somebody has stolen a motorbike Kawasaki 1000 in the private hotel parking before the night closing. Take extra care when parking inside...use also chain or some extra protection...

Family of 5, we stayed here 3 nights. Our 2 rooms were extremely basic, with hardly any furniture; bathrooms were more of a sanatorium kind than what one would expect in a hotel. While the place was clean, the beds were poor, and our rooms (230&231) overlooking the street extremly loud. Next time I'll stay elsewhere.

Most hotels in Copenhagen are in the tourist areas or near the central station, and are noisy and bland (or very expensive), but Nora is in the middle of the charming Nørrebro neighborhood. Our room was light, lofty, modern and very fresh. Expect guests to be friendly adult couples or business guests. I'd definitely stay here again!

This hotel was clean, fast wifi 120 up and down, room was very small, bed was soft as well as the pillows. Breakfast was fine. Staff very supportive, environment cheap, more student type. The price was taking all together a little bit too high.

This is a small "budget" hotel about 1.5km from Tivoli and central station, and a brisk 10 minutes walk to Nørrenport metro station, and within walking distance of most of the attractions in Copenhagen. It's a clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who are more than happy to help with whatever they can. I stayed in a basic... More

The rooms ("living room" and bedroom) smelled smoke and the reason is simple: worn out carpets and furniture from the 60´s or even before(?!) do look and feel terribly depressivt. The tiny sofa broke... The surroundings, described as "the new, real Copenhagen" turned out to mean that it is an immigrant neighbourhood, full of grafitti, dirt and kebab places, which... More

A simple hotel located in Norrebrogade area of Copenhagen, close to the station. There is no lift (elevator) in the hotel. But the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a fairly decent spread with a variety of yogurt, fresh juices, beverages, selection of breads, scramble eggs, fresh fruit. Wifi is free, rooms have been recently refurbished and... Stayed for one night. Good location, newly redecorated rooms. Big and bright rooms. Breakfast was ok too. Would stay again! Everything you could ask for if you're staying in Copenhagen. If you are sensitive with noise, ask for a room facing the court yard.

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
