Great camping in the center of toerism.
We had a great time and can recommend this camping. The staff is friendly and helps. The family bathroom is nice and roomy, there is toilet paper in the toilets, you can regulate your temperature of the shower, which is great of you do not like the standard temperature. The take away can even make lego fries on request. Everything is lego themed and awesome. Legoland is 2-3 minute walk and the camping will save you on parking costs and has a good ticket deal. Billund also is only 20 minute walk and there are free busses. The playgrounds on the camping are nice, and most things are well maintained. We also recommend going to Lego house, we thought that was great. Legoland haa lego as a theme, but in lego house you can play with lego. The shop also has some unique items and hard to find boxes. In short great to have everything so close.

Clean, easy family stay to visit legoland
We stayed in the Ninjago cabins for two nights while visiting legoland. You park your car beside the cabin, and there is a massive well kept playground to keep the kids occupied. The cabin was clean on arrival, and has basic kitchen facilities and a bench to eat out front. We tried the take away pizzas which were great, but didn’t try the restaurant. The on-site supermarket is well equipped for its size, and it is only a 10 minute walk to the entrance of legoland. The grounds are well kept and there are several different playgrounds for the kids, so during summer with good weather this is probably the best way to stay and experience legoland.

    Very good for short stay
We stayed in a Ninjago cabin for one night at the start of a holiday from the UK. We stayed here before we checked into LaLandia for the rest of the week as a special treat. The accommodation was great and the theming is brilliant. The Legoland Holiday Village is about a 5-10 minute walk from Legoland and is just the other side of LaLandia. Check in was easy and there is a room you can leave baggage if required. We came straight from the airport and used the public bus which drops just outside Legoland. Not far to walk from there but was a bit tricky with the suitcases. There is a free bus that drops outside LaLandia which is closer, but we didn't realise this until later in our stay. The public bus was fine though and was about £5gbp for 2 adults and 2 children. The Holiday Village itself is amazing. Really clean and loads of really nice play parks. The cabins were clean and comfortable with great theming. We would have struggle for the whole week here as the kitchen facilities are bit light compared to that in the LaLandia cabins but for a short stay it was perfect. We hired go carts for an hours at a cost of about £8gbp and these were great fun. She onsite shop is exceptionally expensive though. LaLandia is a short walk over the road and there shop is significantly bigger and much better value. Other than that I could not fault the Legoland Holiday Village and I would highly recommend this place.

We were camping at Legoland holiday Village for 5 nights during our holiday. We booked an XL size pitch with electric hook up and it was big enough for our VW and awning. As newbies to the world of camper-vanning, we were unsure what to expect but it was wonderful. First- the important bits: the toilets and showers are fine. They are cleaned regularly and there are plenty within easy reach of all the areas of the village. There are also some family showers which were great for taking the kids in and having a bit more space to do things in. The shop has all the basics, but it is expensive. It took us a couple of days to work on our local geography to realise there is a Netto in Billund (near to the Lego house) and there is a rather large supermarket in LaLandia which is much better value. Both are walkable (Netto is about 30 mins nice walk) LaLandia is 5 mins and this makes things a lot more affordable. Once we were up to speed with the right supermarket we then used the communal cooking facilities which were great. There are loads of hobs and a microwave and a lovely feel in there as people cooked their food! I found a fellow English person in there and picked their brains about supermarkets and things! The village is a 10 min walk from LegoLand which is perfect, we popped back to our van during lunch time once as it such a short walk. There is a buffet restaurant on site, which I booked for our first night, this came out at about £100 for all 4 of us. Which isn’t cheap, and I have a husband and a twin 2 who isn’t a fan of buffets…. But I didn’t mind it, the salmon was lovely! Lots of people used the take away from there from what I can see. LegoLand holiday village was perfect… we asked our children where they want to go on holiday next year…..I think we are coming back!

We stayed here for a few days during a trip to Billund for Legoland. The theming in the pirate motel is fab with the added touch of Lego models in the room and a Lego pirate treasure chest of Duplo to play with. The site has lots to do, treasure hunt, inflatable pillows, play parks amongst other things. The kids really enjoyed it. We paid for the buffet for both of our nights for ease and whilst it was good, it seems the same menu is put on every single night which gets a bit tiresome. It might be good to mix it up a bit with the menu but I guess most people only ever stay for 2-3 days so I guess there's not much point in doing it. My only gripe is that the shop is super expensive. I'm aware that Denmark as a whole is expensive but for example, a 6 pack of 330ml beers is over £10. From what I can gather, this is far far more expensive than in other supermarkets. Would definitely stay again if ever in billund again.

If you like airplanes then this is your destination because the place is an extension of the runway, airplanes are passing by all day and all night. The restaurant ( Pirate Inn) is having the slogan same sh!t different day. Legoland was big fun. Good luck with the decision making.

The camping is nice with all the lego items, facilities (shower, toilet) are very outdated but working. We went for dinner at the Pirate Inn which was horrible. No taste whatsoever. Do not book it for dinner!! Every night the same food without taste. Even the fried stuff was cold All the best, Suzanne

We stayed at Pirats Inn. Interesting place for kids. All is neat and clean. The personal was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite nice - you were able to choose even a gluten-free bread or alternative milks. The surroundings were really nice as well - kid loved it !

The room was quite large, and the surroundings brilliant for a stay with kids of all ages, really. A small supermarked, many playgrounds, lego sculptures everywhere, gaming room, minigolf, etc. Parking was easy. It didn't take long to walk to Legoland. There's a guest kitchen with besic equipment. Some of the interior was a bit worn, but impossible to avoid with the amount of children passing through every year. But: stay away from the restaurant! The Pirates' Inn is dreadful! Horrible! The kids buffet is ok, although overpriced, but the buffet for adults was a complete disaster. They served the same main dishes every day. Is it possible to cook a veal fillet with rosemary pesto without any taste at all? Yes, it is. They manage at the Pirates' Inn. We payed about 850 DKK for a family of four. If you order pizza at Bellini's, you pay about 300, and you get some flavour. Use the lodgings, eat out.

The good The staff were helpful Lots of Lego statues The medium The pillows to jump on were brilliant for kids to meet but shut at 9pm when we were there in the summer and had daylight to 10pm. The disappointing - remembering that this accommodation is premium priced Rooms very small with not even a shelf in main bedroom for phone/glasses watch. An extra metre would have made a big difference No comfy chairs to relax TV very old with limited channels and no hdmi port to connect dvd player Takeaway shut on day we went to Legoland when allegedly open every night. Only other option buffet which was expensive. Limited facilities in kitchen so no way to cook meal in chalet No washing up liquid - did have in other places we stayed No spare bin bags Supermarket incredibly expensive. I understand captivr audience and expect to pay a bit more but eg 6 pack of tuborg beer over twice the price of standard supermarkets. Overall would not recommend Legoland accommodation to anyone visiting Legoland Billund.
