Good gourmet food experience, central location and cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. Room was medium in style and cleanliness. However, generally the place appeared a little run down, dirty and understaffed. Not seen a painter or cleaning personnel for a long time. Fruit flies had a blast. Sorry.

First time I visited hotel Ferdinand and it definitely will not be the last! Had a suite which really is an apartment with a huge bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The place is beautifully decorated and lacks nothing. The only (really minor) thing I want to comment on is that the coffee in the room costs 15DKK, although it is... More

I really liked this small quirky hotel The room was actually an apartment with fully stocked kitchen, and a bathroom with both washing machine and tumble drier. The location is good, on the side of a canal, the area appears to be undergoing rejuvenation and along the canal are many bars and restaurants. There is no parking at the hotel,... More

We had an apartment which proved to be a good choice. There was a clothes washing machine and dryer. The apartment was spacious and had a balcony that got the morning sun. The bed was comfortable and bathroom big. The location is good because it is central and easy to walk most places you will want to go. We got... More

I got a really nice apartment room with a balcony overlooking the canal. These rooms are separate from the main hotel. The rooms has a Nespresso coffee machine and milk foamer (always a plus for me). The restaurant was very good for lunch and the breakfast in the morning was better than average. Because the rooms are on the main... More

The hotel rooms are really nice and have a nice view to a boulevard. The staff are really friendly and the hotel restaurant is great. I do recommend this place to anyone who is interested in visiting Aarhus, DK.

This hotel ( actually a restaurant with 8 rooms) is located at the down town . You enter your from the restaurant entrance and the waiters help you to check in. The rooms were quite big with separate work area . But the room was dirty , there were broken glasses on the bathroom floor ! Not acceptable of course... More

Ferdinand hotel is situated along a canal and near the main shopping strip of aarhus. There are also a few bars and cafes downstairs, particulArly the Australian bar right across is very popular. Friday night was loud and noisy as the music and crowd starts going bonkers. We kind of saw it coming, our studio had ear plugs in the... More

Nice location close to Åen. However, be aware that this place is not serviced after 22.00, and that you have to enter the 'hotel' from dark backyard (not locked off at night), if you come in later. With stairs going from the backyard right up to my bedroom window, that was broken so it could not be locked proberly, this... More

I traveled to Aarhus, Denmark for business in Dec 2014. My luggage was delayed and I was without my essentials for 2 days. The hotel staff offered me a kit of essentials and I really appreciate their gesture. This is a services apartment with good amenities. Great location, right in the middle of the happening street, pubs and places to... More
