We have been frequent visitors to this hotel for nealy a decade and singing the praises of this unique boutique hotel is thus long overdue. Ít´s like entering France of the Fifties with all its charmingly quaint and curious details and an unfailingly friendly and helpful staff who strike the perfect balance between being openly and genuinely friendly and professional...

Annette and Steen have created a delightful French ambience in the heart of Aarhus. Each room contains a tasteful selection of Provençal decor. As a winter stay we were warm and very comfortable. The hosts and their helpful son were charming and considerate. We loved our stay and hope to return in the summer. Many thanks, Russell and Suzanne, Auckland,...

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Villa Provence which is a smallish hotel with lots of character. It's very well situated for all the restaurants and sights in Aarhus. A lot of the rooms are set around the pretty courtyard. Our room was large and comfortable facing the courtyard. Wifi was excellent. Everything was provided in the room...

Old town charm located conveniently to most everything you will want to see in Aarhus. As you walk through a short "tunnel" you enter into a lovely garden courtyard paved with cobblestones. Enter into a lovely French style boutique hotel to be greeted by warm and friend staff. Everyone speaks excellent English. Our room charming with hard wood floors, a...

You expect to have efficient and attentive staff in a hotel, but this staff genuinely seemed like one big, happy family. They all seemed to pitch in to get everything done--serving breakfast to cleaning rooms to checking in guests. Parking behind a gated area was really nice. Room is very large with four-poster bed. Bed is comfortable with great pillows.The...

This hotel is very small, and in a very old building. I was initially unhappy because there was no help available for luggage when I checked in, and I had to climb three very steep staircases (with super narrow and short stairs) with my heavy suitcases. There is no elevator. Also, there is no room service. So, give this some...

Have stayed here a number of times now and it is always excellent. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are well appointed and clean and the ambiance is relaxed. Also the breakfast is amazing! Can't recommend enough

Well, have as far as I can remember, never been to Provence in France. But if the 'real Provence is as nice and friendly as The Villa Provence - then I'm going. We stayed over a week end in Aarhus to see the various sights ( AROS and The old city highly recommended by the way ) and had been...

A wonderful cosy hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable, the leafy courtyard was a great place to relax with a glass of wine, and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend. However, it's best to request a room at the back facing the courtyard, as there is a pub across the street from the hotel that...
