Old town charm located conveniently to most everything you will want to see in Aarhus. As you walk through a short "tunnel" you enter into a lovely garden courtyard paved with cobblestones. Enter into a lovely French style boutique hotel to be greeted by warm and friend staff. Everyone speaks excellent English. Our room charming with hard wood floors, a... More

You expect to have efficient and attentive staff in a hotel, but this staff genuinely seemed like one big, happy family. They all seemed to pitch in to get everything done--serving breakfast to cleaning rooms to checking in guests. Parking behind a gated area was really nice. Room is very large with four-poster bed. Bed is comfortable with great pillows.The... More

This hotel is very small, and in a very old building. I was initially unhappy because there was no help available for luggage when I checked in, and I had to climb three very steep staircases (with super narrow and short stairs) with my heavy suitcases. There is no elevator. Also, there is no room service. So, give this some... More

Well, have as far as I can remember, never been to Provence in France. But if the 'real Provence is as nice and friendly as The Villa Provence - then I'm going. We stayed over a week end in Aarhus to see the various sights ( AROS and The old city highly recommended by the way ) and had been... More

A wonderful cosy hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable, the leafy courtyard was a great place to relax with a glass of wine, and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend. However, it's best to request a room at the back facing the courtyard, as there is a pub across the street from the hotel that... More

We recently stayed in this wonderfully quaint hotel. The staff and owner of the hotel are very welcoming and provide excellent service during your stay. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and plentiful. The rooms are very clean with nice amenities, but they are extremely small and very warm, no a/c. We were lucky that it was such beautiful weather during... More

Villa Provence has a great location that is close to the canal and just a short walk from the train station. The staff was very helpful and like the rest of the Danish people they are courteous and friendly. At the end of a long day of sightseeing you can relax in the peaceful courtyard with a glass of wine... More

My wife deserves the credit for discovering Villa Provence after researching hotels is Aarhus. From a location standpoint the hotel is perfect - we walked to all museums, old town and restaurants and even walked from central station. The hotel is a few blocks from the heart of the city where shopping and restaurants are located. So, great location. Now... More
