Let's start with the good things. The location is unbeatable for a city hotel and the general standard of the room is good. The staff is friendly and effective. But there are some issues that were not up to a four star hotels standard. First of all the bathroom is probably the worst hotel bathroom I've ever stayed at with the exception of a really run down hotel in Orlando. The sink kept water in it for at least 15 min and I had to scoop out water from it. The toilets flushing is of idiotic design were as soon as you lean back the toilet flushes and last of all the shower was lacking pressure. Stayed in room 1101. The fact that the bathroom were were of bad standard is what's keeping me from giving it a 3 or a 4. But hopefully I just got unlucky with my room and hopefully the issues might be solvable for the hotel. I would still recommend to book a stay here, but my visit has me doubting if I want to return.…
Let me start by telling that the staff at the reception are very friendly and very helpfull. The reception area is ok and quite modern but the hotel itself and certainely the rooms are in need of a full renovation. Furniture is dated, bathrooms are reflecting early 70’s. The windows are old and not soundproof. There still is a full carpetflooring in the rooms which is full of stains and not very hygienic. Please get rid of it. On the higher floor you will get a nice view Breakfast is good but the “preprepared” eggs are very often lukewarm which I do not appreciate. I like my meals and certainely my eggs warm. Finally I would choose another hotel in Aalborg.
Fantastic hotel, great location, great staff, great rooms, great pillows, great WiFi, great showers, great beds Cannot give this place any more praise, well done to the managers and owners of this place for doing a good job with their team
Gorgeous views (no need to go the Aalborg tower), nice rooms and extremely tasty breakfast. Close to the main city and theater district and our activities like the Park of Music and VRgame inside the main trainstation. Would love to come again!
Nice, big room on twelfth floor. Excellent views, clean and good bed. Super service in the reception, BUT parking is a huge problem. Even worst is the covid 19 efforts in the breakfast restaurant. Plastic bags ment as gloves were laid out by the buffet, and of course disinfectant fluid. The problem was lack of information on how to use the "gloves". Some used them, put in their pockets and used again. Some had one on the hand the held the plate with, and none on the hand they used to help themselves to food with. Quite busy and it took long time for the staff to clear and clean tables. No information about which tables were ready for new guests and witch were not. No information about how to act in elevator que, how many in the lift for each ride. That lead to several disturbing situations, some wanted to ride alone, others didn't bother.…
