The smiling welcome we got was first step of a good impression we got of the Hotel. The women in the reception was very professional. She made us feel very welcome. She made sure that we got and understood all the information she had to give us. I have never received such an outstanding welcome in a reception before. Great way to start our stay😊 We had dinner at the pub Fox & Hounds at the Hotel. Great service – the food was not the best but the service and atmosphere was great. The next night we had dinner at the restaurant. The girls who served us was outstanding. The went that extra mile for their guests. The food was fantastic and we had a really good night. Overall the only thing was the food at Fox and Hounds – besides that it was absolutely fantastic service. The rooms are okay. A bit old but nice. The location of the Hotel is perfect and easy to find. It is placed right across the shopping street and supermarket.

This is a high quality hotel, and very well situated to the main walking and shopping street. The room is very well appointed. Staff on the phone and at reception are most helpful. Refrigerator/mini bar in room. Coffee maker and hot water kettle also standard in room. Nice quality bed linens and towels. Air conditioning is helpful even when not hot, as you will need to shut the windows when it rains. Breakfast buffet is very ample with meats, herring, salmon, breads, cold salads, and of course hot eggs to order, etc. Nice surprise is the fresh orange juice maker. Hours for breakfast until 10:00. Coffee in the lobby all day. Cookies in the evening.

Other hotels should visit this one to find out what quality, design, staff efficiency & friendliness and comfort is all about. They are located about 100 meters from a long pedestrian shopping street, reasonably close to the harbor and access roads. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and nicely outfitted. Not many hotels offer air conditioning, but they do. Breakfast is very good, one of the best ones we’ve had on our 6 months journey.

The room was small but well organized, with comfortable beds, enough place for our things and all amenities. There was air conditioning but we preferred to open a window (it was a hot day), even if there was traffic noise from the street below. You couldn't hear it with the window closed. Our room had a very small bathroom and an even smaller wash basin - very difficult to use! The lounge and terrace were very nice, and there's free coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast was good and very varied, they had vegetable milk which is always a plus with me! There is free parking. The town was cute, but beware: everything closes at 17.30 (earlier on Saturday, all closed on Sunday) and there wasn't a soul around after that time. There are a couple of bars and a couple of restaurants, including one in the hotel. There is a roadside beach 10 minutes walking from the hotel, but it didn't look great and the harbor has a lot of industrial sites.
